Description: The National Historic Site preserves the remains of 2 frontier forts and a federal
courthouse and jail. A Visitor's Center is housed in a historic building. This Site's emphasis is on Native
American, U.S. Military and Western History.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: Most intern opportunities are in research and interpretation. They will
work with park rangers to meet their goals for the intern experience. They offer a meal allowance. A
few positions may be offered with a salary.
