Description: Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park is one of California's state parks which preserves
one story of hydraulic gold mining in California. The park features a Ghost Town, campground, trails
public and school programs.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: Internships may be completed April - June only or for both Spring and
Summer. Interns assist with development and maintenance on the Spring "Environmental Living
Program, for 4th graders, present public and school programs in historic gold-mining town in the
Northern Sierra Nevada Mountains, develop park brochures and displays, maintain exhibits and trails,
operate visitors center contact station, answer phones, and assist with planning and publicity of annual
special events.
