How to Apply
All New York Tech Vancouver applications are done online and require a non-refundable $50 USD application fee. The
application process begins here: vancouver.nyit.edu/admissions →
Once you have paid the fee, upload the following documents:
• Transcripts from each semester of your four (4)-year Bachelor’s degree
• Four (4)-year Bachelor’s degree certificate
• Any transcripts or certificates received beyond your Bachelor’s degree program
• Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL or IETLS or PTE)2
• GMAT score (if your overall GPA is less than 3.0 on 4.0 scale)
• Statement of Purpose (recommended)
• A copy of your passport
• 1–2 page résumé or C.V.
• Two (2) letters of recommendation from professors who are familiar with your undergraduate work (recommended)
[1] Minimum requirements. The M.B.A. program has a limited number of seats and only the best applicants will be admitted to the program.
[2] This is not required if you have completed your Bachelor’s degree from an English speaking country such as Canada, the United States, the United
Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. New York Tech Vancouver reserves the right to test new students for their English proficiency upon arrival
on campus. IELTS indicator test are not accepted for admission.

Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
International students are strongly encouraged to apply at least six (6) months prior to the start of their desired
intake term to accommodate the processing of their study permit application with Canadian immigration.
Original documents must be presented to campus officials for verification during new student orientation.
[3] The New York Tech Vancouver Admissions Department will determine how many credits a student must take to complete the M.B.A. on a
case-by-case basis. Once applicants submit their complete application materials, Admissions will inform them how many credits they must take
to complete the M.B.A. and total tuition amount. Total credit requirement depends on whether a student is able to waive courses; generally those
with Bachelor degrees in Business can waive credits towards the M.B.A. Students pursuing M.B.A. with a Concentration in Finance or Business
Analytics are required to take an additional six (6) credits. International students must take minimum 18 credits + Technical Communications (zero
credit) in the first year to qualify for Full Time status (6 credits + Technical Communications in the first term then minimum 6 credits per term until
they graduate.
[4] For two (2) years. Amount does not include other fees or tuition fees for any waivable courses or bridge courses that may be required. Twoyear
tuition fee calculated based on: Fall 2023 USD $1,145/credit; Spring 2024 USD $1,145/credit; Summer 2024 USD$1,145/credit; Fall 2024 USD $1,190/
credit; Spring 2025 USD$1,190/credit; Summer 2025 USD$1,190/credit. Please note tuition is calculated at USD$1,190/credit as an estimate from Fall
2025 onward. The actual tuition rate per credit will be determined later. Tuition charges may change during study period without prior notice. See

[6] Technical Communications course must be taken in the Fall 2023 semester. The course fee of USD $1,717.50 is only applicable to Fall 2023

Students are also required to take two (2) courses from the following list (three (3) credit hours each).
• Skills and ability to analyze and implement data-driven business processes, form business inferences and predictions
from data, and make optimal and robust business decisions.
• Skills to do enhanced statistical analysis, data visualization, database management, machine learning, and social
network analytics applications in different business functional areas including marketing, finance, accounting,
operations, supply chain, and human resources.
• Use Python programming, SQL, Tableau, s to determine which dataset is most useful and how it can be leveraged to
solve business problems and increase productivity, efficiency, and revenue.
