a general step-by-step guide to making your own shadow puppets:
1. Materials Needed:
 Black cardstock or heavy paper
 Scissors
 Craft knife (optional)
 Bamboo skewers or sticks
 Tape or glue
 Pencil
 Lamp or flashlight
2. Design Your Puppet:
 Think about the character you want to create. Simple
designs work best for shadow puppets.
 Sketch your design on the black cardstock. Remember
that the silhouette of the puppet will be what's visible,
so keep your design bold and recognizable.
3. Cut Out Your Puppet:
 Carefully cut out your design using scissors. If your
design has intricate details, you might want to use a
craft knife for precision.
 Make sure to leave a portion of the puppet uncut at the
bottom to serve as a handle.
4. Create Support:
 Attach a bamboo skewer or stick to the back of your
puppet. You can do this by taping or gluing it securely
to the handle portion you left uncut.
