Case Study: CommScope helps inwi
streamline to prepare for 5G
In this documentation, we are going to discuss about how CommScope helps to
inwi for preparing 5G for real world. 5G stands for fifth generation in
telecommunication, which has higher speed rather than other telecommunication
techniques. There are some challenges for solving problems that has been solved
by CommScope and Inwi.

Who has developed 5G in Morocco?

Inwi has started to develop then CommScope helped in solving challenges.
Where is has been implemented?
It has been developed and applied in Casablanca in Morocco.
What are the challenges?
The first and foremost challenge is reduced count of antenna. Secondly, it should
be installed in that way where we can eliminate mistake as much as possible.
Moreover, implementation of 5G readiness with excellent coverage and service.
Therefore, user can get highest speed while using internet.
How have they overcome challenges?
One of the greatest solutions for above challenges are deployed 28 ports in one
antenna. All the antennas relate to ML0C-4 and ML0c-5 clusters.
What have they developed?
By doing partnership, they developed custom antenna with 28 ports which could
give excellent coverage and provide higher frequency in future also.
When they start to develop?
They start research inn 2017 and then they developed it for real world.

Summary:
Inwi started developing 5G in Morocco because it is one of the most developed
mobile markets in North Africa. Most of internet connections are cellular
connection. If we discuss about Inwi it is one of the best companies in Morocco.
Moreover, it was no 1 internet provider as per nPref.
There are many challenges for implementation 5G such as count of antenna.
Moreover, it’s been developed without any mistakes. It’s has been developed
with complex design. By implementation of multiple spectrums, challenges of
speed could be increased especially, in dense areas.
The combination of TDD and FDD significant increase the number of ports. That’s
why CTO explained we need to develop customize antenna. Inwi has made
partnership with CommSpace to solve these problems.
CommSpace has suggested 28 ports in single antenna with higher frequency.
Moreover, it has experienced in developing such ports so they could build is
easily. By finding partner, they could develop robust 5G system. Moreover, they
developed M-LOC cluster connections.
M-LOC cluster connectors enable installers to connect and calibrate four or five
ports at the same time. They developed antenna that could be used in future with
excellent coverage and quality performance. Due to advance feature, they
reduced lease cost and increase space for further use.
In summary, we can conclude that Inwi can become one of the great companies in
telecommunication in Morocco. The partnership of both companies kept project
moving and will give user satisfied service.
