SUMMARY

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has

influenced various sectors, including education, where there is recognition
of its potential to improve learning experiences. One promising application is
the detection and interpretation of text within images, given the prevalence
of digital content. However, existing methods for text detection often require
specialized software and technical expertise, limiting accessibility for
students.
Addressing this gap, the study proposes developing a user-friendly AI
Image Text Detector app to empower students and support their academic
endeavors. The app aims to seamlessly analyze AI-generated text from
images, enhancing academic performance and fostering informed decision-
making. The methodology involves a quantitative approach, focusing on
applied research to design and develop the app. Key steps include
identifying requirements, implementing AI algorithms for text detection,
optimizing performance, and testing usability and effectiveness.
The study targets academic and research institutions, general users,
content creators, and businesses as beneficiaries, offering a solution to
verify the authenticity of text in images. Moreover, the methodology
emphasizes assessing functionality, UI impact, device compatibility, and
scalability to ensure the app meets organizational goals and user needs
effectively.

Background of the Problem

In recent years, the proliferation of artificial intelligence (AI)

technologies has significantly impacted various domains, including
education (Zhang, 2021). According to Toumi (2018), as AI continues to
evolve, there is a growing recognition of its potential to enhance learning
experiences and educational outcomes for students. One area where AI can
play a transformative role is in the detection and interpretation of text
within images. Moreover, with the increasing prevalence of digital content
and the widespread use of images for communication and information
dissemination, the ability to instantly detect and analyze AI-generated text
from images has become increasingly important (Santos, 2023).
Despite the advancements in AI technology, there remains a gap in
the availability of user-friendly tools that can efficiently and accurately
identify text within images, particularly for students who may benefit from
such capabilities in their academic endeavors. Traditional methods of text
detection and extraction from images often require specialized software and
technical expertise, limiting their accessibility and usability for students
(Dwivedi, 2023).
Furthermore, as educational institutions continue to integrate
technology into their curricula, there is a growing demand for intuitive and
accessible tools that leverage AI to support students' learning needs. Thus,
the development of a user-friendly AI Image Text Detector app has the
potential to bridge this gap and empower students with the tools they need
to enhance their academic performance and achieve their educational goals.
Problem and Solution

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) has presented numerous

difficulties for research culture. Thus, this study aims to answer the
following questions.
1. How to design and develop an app?
2.How can a user-friendly mobile application interface be designed
and implemented for seamless image text analysis and detection?

Beneficiaries

The result of this study will provide Ai Image Text Detector Creating
an App for Instant Detection of Ai-Generated Text from Images. The
following will benefit from the study's findings:
Academic and research institutions. It will help analyze digital
content in an efficient way. Additionally, it helps identify whether the
research or project is AI-generated.
General users. It will help individuals consider and generates their
own ideas instead of relying on AI, allowing them to make informed
decisions.
Content creators: Authors, journalists, and creators who rely on
authenticity and credibility in their work and seek tools to verify the origin of
text in images.
Businesses: Companies operating in various sectors, such as media,
advertising, and e-commerce, who aim to maintain integrity and trust in
their communications and marketing materials.
Future Researchers. It will help them have an idea on how to mitigate
and solve the certain issue abusing AI.
METHODOLOGY

This research uses quantitative approach particularly the applied

research design to make an application that detects AI text through a
camera lens. This focuses on innovating existing websites into an
application, improving an AI detector with an accessibility using camera lens
to any device. The researchers will identify the key requirements and
functionalities for the AI image detector app. This includes features such as
compatibility, with various devices and operating systems, and user-friendly
interface. Then, the researchers will discuss the requirements and outline
for app development. The researchers will implement the AI algorithms
necessary for text detection through camera lens. This involves a
convolutional neural network to analyze images and extract text.
Additionally, the researchers will need to optimize the app’s performances to
ensures the fast, accurate text detection. Once developed, it will undergo a
series of testing to validate the performance the usability. The researchers
will then evaluate the effectiveness of the AI-test app.
To find the best mobile solution for an enterprise, follow a step-by-
step process. Assess functionality, UI impact, device compatibility,
integration with backend systems, performance, and scalability. Custom
solutions offer tighter integration, while off-the-shelf apps may require
additional middleware or installations. Prioritize scalability to handle
variable demands while maintaining consistent performance. This
comprehensive evaluation aligns the chosen solution with organizational
goals and user needs.

Proposed Solution

The proposed solution for the project " Development of an App

Detector for Ai-Generated Text" aims to address the challenge of identifying
AI-generated text within images swiftly and accurately. This solution is
essential for combating the spread of misinformation, ensuring content
authenticity, and promoting digital literacy in the era of AI-generated
content proliferation.
The primary objective of this project is to develop an AI-powered
mobile application capable of instantly detecting AI-generated text within
images. By providing users with a reliable tool for identifying manipulated or
synthesized text, the app seeks to empower individuals, organizations, and
content moderators to maintain the integrity of digital content and mitigate
the potential harms associated with AI-generated text.
