Literature review is crucial in our everyday lives and, more importantly, in the research we are
going to do. However, writing a literature review is a difficult task. It examines and scrutinizes the text you
are trying to do, making it more critically examined and digested.

A literature review is a critical and comprehensive analysis of existing research and scholarly
articles on a specific topic or research question. It involves identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing
relevant literature to provide a summary and understanding of the current state of knowledge on the
topic. A literature review involves research questions, objectives, methods, results, and discussion. In a
thesis, a literature review serves to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge
on the subject and helps establish the context and significance of the research being conducted. It also
helps postgraduate students to think more critically and perform well in further investigations into a
particular field that they are searching for. The effectiveness of a literature search may help students gather
more appropriate data and information. Also, in academic writing, we should use concise and precise
words. Reading and understanding more vocabulary words may also help us to widen our knowledge
about a specific context. We should also be critical in a literature review; it helps us to be analytical in the
literature we are reading. Lastly, a literature review can be developed by elaborating on it: defining your
main topic, searching the literature, analyzing your results, writing, and reflecting on your writing. Defining
your main topic helps you avoid wasting your time, and it will also help you organize the ideas that you
are searching for. Searching the literature is an important task in developing a literature review. It helps
you find more accessible information and gather credible and reliable data. Analyzing the results needs
critical thinking. Lastly, writing and reflecting on the writing must be aligned with the steps you took when
analyzing the results.

It is beneficial to me as a senior high school student conducting research to fully comprehend the
literature review. I understood and discovered from the paper that there are five phases to writing a strong
literature review. You must first specify your topic. I can now comprehend what factors I need to consider
in order to define my topic exactly after reading that section. Since it was explained to me in detail, I was
in wonder. The next thing is looking for books to utilize as background for my research. It teaches me how
to check trusted sources, like books and newspapers, to ensure that the material is accurate and follows
the proper procedures. The outcome analysis is the third phase. Critical reading and thinking are the most
crucial skills you need in this Because you are now examining both the research's weaknesses and its
positives to determine what you should include and remove, it opened my eyes, and it gave me insight
into what we could do to demonstrate that the data we need is relevant to our research. The writing comes
in the fourth phase. Some people might believe that this step is the simplest, but after reading, I would
say that it is the most challenging because you cannot write at random; you must take many factors into
account. Part of this requires editing and citing sources because, when conducting research, you should
believe that the items you must include in your paper are the best. The final step is reflection. It's
important to consider your research gaps at this stage of the research process so that you can fill them in
before publishing your findings. It's also important to invest a lot of time in this stage because it takes time
to thoroughly assess everything.

Finally, a literature review is incredibly helpful to our research. By laying a foundation of

knowledge, detecting gaps, assessing the evidence, guiding research design, and bolstering theoretical
frameworks, literature reviews serve a significant role in research. They are crucial for expanding on prior
understanding and deepening our comprehension of a particular subject. It's vital to remember that a
literature review is a critical analysis that shows knowledge of the subject and the body of prior research,
not just a list of sources. It advances knowledge on a particular topic and aids scholars and researchers in
situating their own work within the larger academic discourse. One of the crucial things we need to
understand is how to do a general literature review because it will form the basis of our investigation. I
learned a lot of new information while reading the article that I didn't know previously. As researchers, we
must always put ourselves into the study and carefully review all the data we collect. We will be better
equipped to conduct informed research in the twenty-first century if we can improve our ability to scan
and interpret information. Things are becoming more varied as the generation advances, and we as
individuals should never stop doing investigations. Those who are having trouble with their research topic
will undoubtedly benefit from reading this post. I can state that it is challenging as a student conducting
research, but that doesn't mean I can't. Fortunately, there are numerous articles, books, and individuals
that can help.
