Introduction
Accurately measuring a learnerʼs potential and progress can transform learning and help you make informed decisions about
individual students, their educational needs and where to focus your teaching efforts.
Many schools use Cambridge Checkpoint to monitor individual and group performance at the end of the primary programme.
The data in this report will help you to measure your learnersʼ skills and understanding in English as a first or second language,
Mathematics and Science, depending on which subjects you have entered your candidates. You can see how your learners have
performed individually, in comparison to the rest of their class and against an International average.
We take steps to maintain the standard of Cambridge Checkpoint tests from one series to another. However, International average
scores may vary if there are significant changes in the entry profile of the whole cohort across different test series. This is because
the learners taking the tests in each test series are of different abilities.
Statements of Achievement
We have also included a Statement of Achievement at the end of this report for each individual learner. To help you recognise
learnersʼ hard work and achievement, we also print and post hard copies of the statements in addition to providing the digital
versions you can find at the end of this report.
