Premarket prep 15th April

Premarket process sheet :

Self-check ins:

What am I grateful for today: I am grateful for the fact that I have the ability to trade, my parents
don’t force me to get me a job and are pretty supportive of the things I do

Longer term goals: Become a process oriented trader, achieving the ability to not trade when a good
setup isn’t there, not fomoing.

Check in:

1.) Am I sick/ tired or upset: No

2.) Am I feeling underconfident or over confident: Pretty neutral

Process goal for today: Process goal for the day is to only take trades that are in line with my trade
process check list

Visualization for the process goal:

Major economic releases:

Stacked news pre market, nothing major post market, the overnight profile will be pretty wild

PVA:

1.) Current condition : Imbalanced down

2.) Recent rejection : market broke through pval overnight, got rejected above last week’s pva,
and headed higher to test pval
3.) Likely destinations: expecting lower excursion after brpb of pval
4.) What didn’t happen: na
5.) Future acceptance possibilities: it could continue to go higher after news release and accept
back into pval, then eventually go higher to touch pvah
6.) Overall grade based on recency of shift: very recent, -8

Monthly:

DVA

7.) Current condition : Rotational

8.) Recent rejection : it took a rejection at monthly dval
9.) Likely destinations: headed higher to vwap and likely to dvah
10.)What didn’t happen : na
11.)Future acceptance possibilities: market could attempt an ipb on monthly, depending on
news, and would be confluent with the weekly pva narrative
12.)Overall grade based on recency of shift: not recent at all , +4

PVA:

7.) Current condition : imbalanced up

8.) Recent rejection na
9.) Likely destinations na
10.)What didn’t happen na

it’s too far away

Yearly:

DVA

19.)Current condition : imbalanced up

20.)Recent rejection : market failed to hold fast trend, now Its chopping around
21.)Likely destinations: headed towards ydvah, but given how it’s chopping around, Its more like
ydvah will move higher to catch up to it
22.)What didn’t happen: after failure to maintain above + 2, market didn’t immediately go back
to ydvah, instead it’s balancing above there, which is what makes me think ydvah will come
up instead of price going down
23.)Future acceptance possibilities: it could maintain a fast trend again, or break down towards
ydvah depending on how it breaks out of current balance
24.)Overall grade based on recency of shift: 0, nothing recent here

Profile distribution:

The market overnight accepted below the 8 and 3 day cval, currently bearish from these levels, this
also aligns with weekly pval narrative

The acceptance picture can change and we might go rotational again.

Hypos for the day:

Hypo 1: Market goes down : Breakout pullback of weekly pva + breakout pullback of cva:
That’s the current most likely scenario based on current conditions, if that happens the only
resistance here is monthly dval, but since it’s not a fresh level, it’s an okay trade to take, B-
Hypo 2: Market accepts above wpval, accepts back inside the cva’s , and moves up, this
would also be an extreme rotational fade of monthly dval, so A trade.

Hypos for the day:

Journal

18:44 market very strong and bullish on open, but context still short, the open did an extreme fade
of ovn balance, stalking change of character short
Trade done, exited 3 at dval, and the last one after we wicked the overnight low, maybe the last exit
was a bit too soon, should have waited for a change of character to occur?

Final risk reward: 1: 1.45

Post market review:

Had 2 hypos in crude, the B- one ended up playing out.

I took an initial short but got stopped out, I think that first short was bad because there was no
heikin ashi shift on the 800 chart, the thing I did wrong was that I should only look at 100 chart when
there is a complex pullback for a lower high, when there is no complex pullback, I should only refer to
the ttf chart.

Another issue was trade management on the final scale out, I exited too early in a sharp trend, could
have squeezed a few more ticks out, I need to wait for a change of character on the runner instead of
exiting too early just because we hit target.

Did I hit my process goal: No on the first trade as I was too zoomed in on the 100 chart, but the
second trade was executed really well, so well done on that

Overall a decent green day.

New goals: ONLY USE MICRO TTF FOR COMPLEX PBs, WAIT FOR CHOCH IN THE RUNNER TRADE.
