Social issues are topics or subjects that impact many people. They often reflect current events but also
represent longstanding problems or disagreements that are difficult to solve.

Unemployment causes workers to suffer financial hardship that impacts families, relationships, and
communities. When it happens, consumer spending, which is one of an economy’s key drivers of growth,
goes down, leading to a recession.

In order to fight unemployment, it is crucial to improve education levels of people so that it will be
easier for them to find a job and Expansion of Employment exchanges More employment exchanges should

what is racism?
Racism is the belief that humans can be divided into separate and exclusive biological entities called
“races"; that there is a causal link between inherited physical traits and traits of personality, intellect, morality,
and other cultural and behavioral features; and that some races are innately superior to others.

why are people racist?

people are racist because we often put labels on people In other words we are quick to judge, for
example we judge people based on how they look, how they speak, what they wear, etc.

Racism can have a very bad impact on people who are targeted. They can suffer emotionally,
physically and socially.

what is the solution to racism? / how do we stop racism?

we can stop racism by trying to be empathetic, example, what if you were the one being bad mouthed?
Or being discriminated? How would you feel? Being empathetic is being in someone else's shoes in other
words being empathetic is to understand and share the feelings of another.

What is poverty?

Poverty is the condition where the basic needs of a family, like food, shelter, clothing, and education
are not fulfilled. It can lead to other problems like poor literacy, unemployment, malnutrition, etc.

What causes poverty?

worklessness and underpaid are the main causes of poverty. Worklessness are people who are not
working, but overwhelmingly want to work, but face barriers to employment. Underpaid, being underpaid is
being paid less money for the work you do.

The effects of poverty are, hunger and malnutrition, limited access to education and other basic services and
social discrimination.

What is the solution to poverty?

the government should expand the employment exchange office that provides employment assistance to
job seekers so that it will be easier for people to look for a job. Fixing underpayment, employees have to be
paid at least their minimum pay rates for the amount of work they do.
