human nature and characteristics that are displayed through the characters of Ben, Gwen, Max and the purpose
of the Omnitrix itself. Max is shown as a cocky, immature kid who seeks attention. He is also a kid who is noble
at heart and tries to save the world from evil forces. Gwen is a sensible and intelligent girl, who is very kind at
heart. Through Max's character, hard work and conquering one's weaknesses are the qualities that are put
forward.

The Omnitrix was created by Azmuth, a Galvan, to allow different beings to experience life as other species in
order to bring harmony and understanding in the universe. The Omnitrix has various modes like Active, Time
Out, Capture and Self Destruct. The pilot episode was aired on 27 December, 2005 and the regular episode
started from 15 April, 2005. The Original series of 2005 was set in 1998, and was succeeded by other series like
the Alien Force, Ultimate Alien (April 2010) and Omniverse (September 2012).
