REPEATING ASPECTS,GANN PLANETS AND SOYBEANS.

By Myles Wilson Walker.

In my last two articles for Traders World I have demonstrated that W.D.Ganns primary
focus was astrology and how the planets time the major and minor movements. In the
following excerpt of Ganns I have placed my comments in parentheses.
Gann wrote........Under the instructions for the master timing angles, you will find how far

each timing angle had moved from the time Steel was incorporated up to the time it made
extreme top.
Under the master timing angles we also show you what happens when timing angles
( these refer to the planets order in the solar system ) 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 cross the other timing
angles (conjunct) or cross the place where they first were when Steel was incorporated
(natal astrology) or to the same place where when any extreme high or low price is
reached.
You will learn when these master timing angles returns to the same place or to the same
angle or degree from which they started.
Therefore you will know the exact measurements of cycles according to moving
energy. The instructions on the master timing angles give you the cause of all market
movements and they can be worked out as far as the year 2000.The figures which we will
used are figures made by the United States Government astronomers and are therefore
absolutely accurate. A careful study of all these figures and a comparison of the
movements of various stocks will convince you of their value..........

Recently I have seen a lot of discussion on what Gann really used to trade but you will
notice that there are not many people who prove their statements by sitting down and
demonstrating their theory using the same method over and over again on complete
sequences of Ganns actual trades. In Super Timing I have done this using the planets for
timing and completing the method with price targets using one of Ganns price
calculators.
If you want to trade like Gann you have to learn his method and his method is the planets
and their positions when highs and lows are made.
Thanks to computers astrology is simple you put in the date and press enter and out
comes a chart that gives you a picture of where the planets were or will be in the sky at
anytime in history.
In issue 28 I showed you part of a very valuable technique where you saw how Gann
used the the planets to form the same shape or pattern again that was observed at the
markets high or low but used different planets to achieve this.
I am going to reprint this part of the article here for those who missed it and then I am
going to show you how the same technique timed a recent swing on soybeans.I am not
including the price targets here, for those who have already bought Super Timing it is just
a matter of looking at your calculators.

...... to give you another idea of how planets can time the markets I will tell you another
technique that I picked up when analyzing the sequence of trades that make up Robert
Gordons great campaign in cotton from Ganns book The Tunnel thru the air.
Gann writes,

June 25th 1927.

October cotton declined to 16.80
Bought 500 October at 16.83 and 500 December at 17.15.
He figured that it would run up for about thirty days.
July 25th 1927.
Sold 500 October cotton at 19.00
Sold 500 December at 19.20
Went short 500 December at 19.20.
Decline followed as he expected.
To understand the reason for the timing of these trades just imagine a
triangle and at each corner there is a planet. This is called a grand trine.
What is happening in this case is that there are two slow planets that
don't move much and they are 120 degrees apart(trine)
Then a fast planet, Mercury in this case comes around so that it forms a
triangle with the other planets (at the low of the market)
it moves away so that there is no grand trine anymore but a month later
the Sun comes around to where Mercury use to be and forms the triangle again (at the
high of the market)............

So from the above you can see the planets form the same shape again but use different
planets. The current example from May soybeans will show how an opposition with a
conjunction in the middle was found at both the low and the high of the swing.
May soybeans had a low of 460 on 13th Dec 1999 and ended on 28th January 2000 at
538.
On Dec 13th Mars was conjunct (joined with) Uranus,This was happening exactly at 90
degrees to Venus and Saturn which were both opposite each other.
This is what it looked like.
Low on Beans 13th December 1999

Mars
Uranus

Saturn________________________Venus

High on beans 28th January 2000

Mercury

Saturn________________________Moon

So here we have Mercury replacing Mars and the Moon replacing Venus. This was the
only time in the whole price move where any planets could recreate the original
pattern that was at the low, couple that with exact price targets and thus a swing was
created in beans just as W.D.Gann said it would.
