Capulets, to marry them. Soon after the marriage,
Romeo killed Juliet’s cousin in a fight and took shelter
with Friar Lawrence, who advised him not to kill
himself / to leave Verona. After seeing Juliet, Romeo
left for Mantua. Lord Capulet, who did not know
about his daughter’s marriage to Romeo, wanted her
to marry the prince’s nephew, Paris. Juliet drank some
medicine which Friar Lawrence had given her and
pretended to be dead. Romeo, who had not heard
about Juliet’s plan, returned to Verona and poisoned
himself because he thought that Juliet was really dead.
Juliet woke up and killed herself with Romeo’s knife.
The Capulets and Montagues made peace with each
other.
