This release notes document describes new features and fixed issues in the GT11’s software.
The release notes do not reflect all changes between software versions. Minor changes and usability improvements in the
web UI are for example not shown.

It is not possible to upgrade the GT11 to this software if the GT11 is running a software prior to 2.3.2.

Improvements and bug fixes
• Chameleon modules in GN50 no longer show status "Communication failed".
• It is now possible to have multiple virtual network interfaces on the same VLAN.
• The web UI now displays everything properly when logging in after being logged out.
• Fixed a problem that caused the GT11 to sometimes crash when Ethernet link events occurred, for example when a
cable was plugged in.
• Fixed a problem that caused the GT11 to not always boot up after being restarted.

Software 3.5, released 2023-10-20

• DHCP can now be used for the Ethernet Control port.
• Capabilities can now be set for the Ethernet Control port.
• Date and time now uses TZ database instead of POSIX.1 TZ for handling the local time. It is advisable but not necessary
to manually edit the time zone after upgrading.
• Ethernet Control port link up and link down events are now shown in the log.
• For certain configurations, errors in Simulcrypt CW provison messages no longer causes the SCG to fallback to FTA.
• Scrambling can now be enabled and disabled for Scrambling groups in the web UI.
• It is now possible to enable System interface after it has been disabled.
• GT11 now responds properly when SNMP requests time out.
• Improved stability of Simulcrypt ECMg redundancy.
• Changed Simulcrypt EMMg connection behavior to cope with certain clients.
• It is now possible to power off a module in the base unit even when the module is in a faulty state.
• The Reboot button in the web UI has been removed. Use Power OFF and Power ON instead.
• Fixed memory leak when doing SNMP Walk and with encryption enabled.
• Corrected SNMP response for gtFansEntry and gtPSUsEntry.
• Security improvements.

Software 3.4.1, released 2022-03-08

• Added support for uploading software to a GT2000 module.
• Added support for HTTPS TLS 1.2 and removed support for SSL v3.
• Setting an incorrect Manual time zone no longer causes Date and Time to stop working.

Software 3.4, released 2021-06-17

• Multiple EMMg connections can now be made to the same IP address and port on the GT11.
• IGMP querier status is now properly shown in the web UI.
• The GT11 now handles a reboot directly after its IP address has been changed. Earlier this could require replacement of
the GT11’s SD card.
• Text with a hyphen character is now sorted properly in the web UI.
• Fixed a problem that could cause the GT11 to crash when using Simulcrypt.
• Adding an ECMg no longer causes an additional empty ECMg to be created.

Software 3.3.4, released 2020-11-16

• Resource utilization for the CPU is now available, both via the web UI and via SNMP.

Software 3.3.3, released 2020-10-16

• Added support for Simulcrypt EMM provision messages over UDP.
• Use of System managed Simulcrypt no longer causes the GT11 to sometimes reboot.

Software 3.3.2, released 2020-10-05

• Added support for System managed Simulcrypt.
• Added support for Simulcrypt CAS server redundancy. Requires software option GTCASRED.

• Input to output mapping of individual PIDs that lack PAT/PMT now works again.
• It is now possible to configure default gateway per interface.
• The local time no longer drifts when using NTP as clock source.

Software 3.3.1, released 2020-06-29

• System mode support for SRT and PSIP in the Chameleon and Tangram modules.

Software 3.3, released 2019-09-26

• Added support for GT11 with hardware revision 1111.
• SNMP traps are now correctly sent at reboot and power up.

Software 3.2.8, released 2018-08-30

• The GT11 will now show sysUpTime via SNMP.

Software 3.2.7, released 2018-06-27

• The export log now uses local time.
• IGMP packets with source IP address 0.0.0.0 are now handled.
• Timezone is now correct when daylight saving setting is turned off.
• Added alarm notification in web UI for fanbay fan speed (not running, too low) and too high temperature in modules or
chassis.

Software 3.2.6, released 2017-10-12

• The web UI’s context menus will now be displayed correctly when using newer versions of the Chrome and Opera web
browsers.

Software 3.2.5, released 2017-08-30

• Support for transport stream monitoring in the Chameleon and Tangram modules.
• System upload of software now works again.
• All character sets should now be correctly displayed in the UI.
• Accessing modules in other base units now works.
• Logs will no longer get lost after a restart.
• Fixed issue where the GT11 sometimes could stop responding after making module backups.
• A logged in user will no longer be logged out prematurely.
• Manual configuration of time zone now works again.
• Timezone for Moscow now matches the changes that the country introduced in 2014.
• Facility code can now be set for syslog.

Software 3.2.4, released 2017-03-28

Please note that GT11 software 3.2.4 should not be used together with Chameleon/Tangram softwares prior to 3.1.
• Added support for Chameleon Encoder (GNHWENC2x).
• Corrected issue where IGMP leaves were not handled correctly when multiple modules subscribed to the same multicast
stream.

Software 3.2.3, released 2017-01-26

• Multiple new SNMP configuration values.
• Corrected TRAP sent on "temperature back to normal".
• Corrected problem where SNMP agent stopped responding after receiving garbage.
• Fixed broken password reset functionality.

• Automatic configuration setting is available for Tangram.
• Multicast streams no longer disappear due to missed IGMP Queries and Reports.
• Multicast streams are now removed correctly after an IGMP Leave.
• Config files stored per slot will no longer destroy configuration for T2-MI deencapsulation.
• Change of settings on Management VLAN works again.
• Corrected error that caused unexpected restart of slots and link down on external ports.
• Corrected problem that could cause network loops after startup.
• Multicast group timeouts after IGMP Leave no longer cause subscribing to two multicast streams when switching to
alternative input configuration on a backplane module.
• SNMP agent now handles get from incorrect config values.

Software 3.2, released 2016-09-30

• SNMP enhancements, SNMP get/set commands.
• IGMP snooping with VLAN ID above 1023 is working now.
• Module temperature will be shown again in gtTempTable.

Software 3.1, released 2016-06-13

KEY has to be valid before you start to upload software 3.1. If a valid SLA does not exist, you must purchase a new one.
• Support for Tangram modules with software version 3.0.
• Adding support for the GT33 module.
• Adding a packet drop counter for monitoring the IP packets.
• Adding special settings for FDB (forwarding database) - unicast/multicast. (please use the default settings. If you have
trouble forwarding some multicast streams, please request support by submitting a ticket on wisiconnect.tv).
• Pro:Idiom key file can now be uploaded via GT11.
• Adapted GT11 switch settings for heavy payload with SPTS streams by default. (for example CC-errors, 3x GT31 each
with 50 SPTS VBR).
• Adding GT11 serial number on reset page for requesting a one-time password.
• Improvements on flood multicast and IGMP snooping settings.
• Removing/deleting a Headend system group did not work.
• Diverse system mode improvements.
