Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can cause a variety of symptoms because it affects the nerves in your brain and

spinal cord.

 Fatigue: This is a major symptom for many with MS. Imagine feeling constantly tired, even after
a good night's sleep. It can make it hard to do everyday activities.
 Vision problems: Damage to the optic nerve can cause blurred or double vision, or even pain in
your eye. It might feel like you're looking through a fog or having trouble seeing colors clearly.
 Numbness or tingling: This can happen anywhere on your body, but it's common in the arms,
legs, and face. It might feel like pins and needles or a kind of buzzing sensation.
 Muscle weakness: MS can weaken your muscles, making it harder to walk, climb stairs, or lift
things. You might feel clumsy or unsteady on your feet.
 Balance problems: Damage to the nerves can affect your sense of balance. This can make you
feel dizzy or lightheaded, or increase your risk of falls.
 Bladder and bowel problems: MS can affect the nerves that control your bladder and bowels.
You might have trouble emptying your bladder completely, or experience urgency or leakage.
Similar issues can happen with bowel control.

These are some of the main symptoms, but MS can also affect other areas like:

 Thinking and memory: Some people with MS experience problems with concentration,
memory, or learning new things.
 Mood: Depression is a common symptom of MS.
 Speech: MS can make it difficult to speak clearly or slaur your words.
