QUARTUS PRIME AND MODELSIM

INSTALLATION STEPS
First download the required softwares
from here:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/
en/software-kit/661019/intel-quartus-
prime-lite-edition-design-software-
version-20-1-for-windows.html
Go to individual files, download
1.quartus lite setup,
2.Modelsim setup,
3.Intel cyclone V device support
• Navigate to downloads
folder (or directory where
the downloaded files are
located)
• Run QuartusLiteSetup-
21.1.0.842-windows.exe
file.
• Make sure other files are in
the same directory during
installation.
• A command window
prompt will ask “do you
want this app to make
changes” . choose yes.
• Setup wizard as shown will
pop up.
• Continue the
installation like any
other installation steps
• Choose next in the
windows shown.
• Agree to the License
Agreement.
• Choose directory to
install (preferably
default location C
drive)
• Choose the products as
shown in the
figure.(should be
ticked by default)
• Choose next.
• Required disk space is
shown here. (It may not
be same for you; it will
be lesser than this)
• Make sure you have the
required space in your
computer.
• Choose next.
• Continue with the
installation and wait for
the wizard to complete
the installation process.
• Once the installation is
complete, choose next.
Choose the options as
shown in the image and
choose finish.
• Device driver
installation Wizard will
pop up.
• Choose next and
continue with the
installation. (similar to
above process)
• Once done you should
see this window,
choose finish.
Choose the second option
as shown in the image
and choose OK.
Once done with all the above-mentioned steps, you
should see the application running.
