Rationality is the
ability to reason out
and decide freely.
-The person has the ability to grasp,
recognize, and appreciate truth and

among options to promote or
disregard truth and goodness.
Intellect is the
highest faculty of the
human soul.
It is the gift of the
intellect that
distinguishes us from

creation.
Man’s rational soul and the spiritual
powers of the intellect and will make

consequently seeks for it.
In His public ministry, Jesus encouraged His followers
not to follow the law with a spirit of blind obedience.
Jesus would want his followers and disciples to use
their God-given skills to reason and appeal to the heart
of their fellowmen.
