Valentine’s Day Infographic
FACT HUNT & DOODLE INFOGRAPHIC
Students will learn critical facts about Valentine's Day while filling in a
Valentine's Day Doodle Infographic. They’ll be up on their feet,
rotating around the classroom, collecting facts, and learning! The
ABOUT end result is a visually appealing and informative doodle-style
infographic about Valentine’s Day. Its extra-long size, makes it fun,
too!
• Copy 1 or 2 sets of the Fact Cards (depending on how many

students you want at each fact station at a time)
• You might…
• copy the facts on cardstock for durability.
• laminate the facts for use year after year.
• glue the facts onto festive scrapbook paper.
• Display the facts around the classroom

• You might…
• hang them on classroom walls.
PREPARATION • place them on different desks for students to rotate to.
• set the cards up around the school or even in the
school library.
• Class set of the Valentine’s Day Infographic (2 pages)

• Glue
• Crayons, colored pencils and/or markers
• OPTIONAL – clipboards for students to easily write in the facts that
they collect

• Display the fact cards in an area where students can rotate to
collect the facts.
ACTIVITY • Pass out the “Valentine’s Day Infographic.”
• Explain that students will eventually be gluing the two pages
together to make a long infographic, but while working on
collecting the facts it will be easier to keep the pages separate.
• Review the activity with students:
• They will be circulating around to collect all 14 facts about
Valentine's Day.
• When they get to a fact card, they’ll need to review the fact
and then figure out where the information should go on the
infographic.
• Using the information on the fact card, they should fill in the
missing facts on the infographic.
• Students can move at their own pace or you might have
students move on your cue.
• In addition, students might work with a partner or they might
go on the “fact hunt” independently.
• You might encourage students to experiment with the size of
their words and style of their writing on their infographic to
give it a unique look.
• Give students a chance to collect all the facts and add them to
their doodle infographic.
• Then, have students add
glue to the top edge of
the second page of the
infographic. They should
attach the first page to
the second page. This will
create a long infographic.
• Give students a chance
to color in their
infographics.
• Discuss what students
learned about Valentine’s
Day while on their fact
hunt.
• Display infographics.
