A truly friend

Hi to each one of you! I'm going to tell you a story about Yuri and me
becoming friends. I'm Jiea, a grade 11 student, and STEM is my strand. We
started school together at Rizal Elementary School in Grade 4. We were
young when we first became friends, so it wasn't that long ago. I wonder that I
won't be able to forget, even if it's just for a brief moment. We were sent out of
the room after receiving a warning for not paying attention. We had to stand
on the side of our room as punishment. There were five of us heading out, as
I recall, and Yuri and I were still disappointed that we had been.

A few years later, we were classmates once more in seventh grade. I don't
remember where I initially noticed that I simply looked at her. We weren't that
close in the first quarter, and I still recall being one of the people making fun of
and becoming irritated with her. When I was bullied in the second quarter, our
relationship began. When we were called due to a bullying incident involving
me, she was by my side, and I was in advise with her.

Our study is now an online course due to a global illness outbreak. Even
though we weren't in the same class in the eighth grade, we occasionally
spoke. We became classmates once more in grade nine. We both had a great
day, however I must confess that I dozed off and missed my online class.
Since we both had poor grades, we considered supporting one another
instead of griping. We also submitted an application for a math tutor since that
was our area of difficulty. We completed grade 9 as well.

In grade 10 at Benigno Ninoy S. Aquino High School, we were in the same

class. Since we were confined to the house for an extended period and were
not allowed to leave, we were first still shy. Yuri describes herself as a loving,
caring, understanding, and practical friend. To improve to a general average
of 85 in grade 10, that was our aim. In tenth class, I became aware of the
behaviors I was exploring, such as making friendships. In response to the
question. I had so many chats with my students during the first quarter,
perhaps because she wasn't accustomed to my new work, that I failed to see
that Yuri was jealous.

Yuri requested to go to the canteen during our exam, but I told her I would
study for our next exam instead. Suddenly, Jed asked if I might go with her to
the canteen. I said sure, taking Yuri with me. I contacted Yuri while we were
out buying since I thought he might be late, but she instantly left and didn't
answer my questions. I first made multiple attempts to clear up our
misunderstandings before it became clear that things couldn't continue till we
hadn't spoken for two months. When Yuri and I didn't get along, I had two
friends named Naima and Airane.

We had enough time to clear up our misunderstanding in the third quarter. I

hugged her right away after breaking down in tears while we were speaking.
We have not spoken for about three months because I miss her so much. We
had another conversation once we had worked out our disagreements. We
had a lot to discuss regarding everything that happened over the period of
nearly three months.

As of right now, we remain friends. Finding a true friend these days who won't
undermine or drag you down as hard. Not only do I consider Yuri to be a
friend, but also a sister, and she was the first friend my parents approved of. I
am aware that there will be many challenges ahead for us on our journey, but
we will overcome them.

Though it won't be much, the advise I provide you is going to be useful. Even
while many of us have a large social circle, very few of them truly are friends.
How can I know that my friend Yuri is my best friend? It's not just that I like
her actions; it's also because I know her as a whole, she was honest with me,
and I have positive feelings about her. To be her my friend, I don't have to talk
or seem different. Nothing will harm us. It has been six years since we
became friends. Treat everyone with respect and honesty, whether or not you
are friendly. Treat those around you with decency and kindness, and never
forget that "if you don't want it done to you, don't do it to others.".
