1. Objective

My main objective is to be associated with becoming the marketing manager for a

reputed company in Canada. Among all the reputed companies in Canada, Cundari is one of

the country's most famous and top-rated marketing companies. Therefore, I aim to become

the marketing manager of Cundari after a certain period to obtain the ultimate prospect of my

career. The chosen company named Cundari, which is the most internationally recognised

standalone marketing agency in Canada. Their work has won awards at Cassies, Cannes, and

other prestigious events throughout the globe (Cundari, 2022). My selected province is

Toronto, as it is Canada's financial and business capital. It is also known as North America's

most important financial centre, ranking among the top ten worldwide financial hubs, with an

annual GDP growth rate of 2.4 per cent from 2009. I am pursuing MBA in Canada, and I am

now oriented to pursue a promising career line that has a high prospect of getting marketing

jobs. There is a chance to become a part of a reputed marketing firm that has been associated

with earnings of 73,765 Canadian Dollars to 93,571 Canadian Dollars (Marchese et al.,

2019). The entry-level salary hike for the post of marketing manager has been observed to be

approximately 55,000 Canadian Dollars in Canada that I have observed. On an average of 10

% of the total working population in Canada, those with the highest-paid salaries are availing

of the post of a marketing manager with the salary hike starting from 111,000 Canadian

Dollars and levelling up to near 209,000 Canadian Dollars at the maximum (Chowdhury &

Miah, 2019). My aim of becoming a marketing manager in a reputed firm like Cundari would

be to get a salary hike of more than 111,000 Canadian Dollars with a good job.

2. Opportunities

I want to pursue the position of marketing manager in Canada would be associated

with the successive openings of other opportunities and prospects with the higher ranks of job

roles. The promotions that would be possible after becoming a marketing manager have been

linked with becoming a Marketing Director followed by Marketing Research Director

(Ahmed, 2020). To obtain my desired position as a marketing director, I have to serve as the

marketing manager in a reputed firm. I would need to establish some vital skills and abilities

to help me pursue the next target position at the marketing level. A promotional for me of 3-4

years will be followed to obtain the next level or position after the post of a marketing

manager in Canada, and that will be beneficial for me too. The persuasion of some of the

courses that would allow me to obtain the promotions within the marketing managers have

been linked with the courses named Post Degree Diploma in Business Administration–

Marketing Management and University Canada West College Graduate Certificate in

Marketing Management (Weng, 2022).

In addition, I think that marketing skills that have been associated with specialization

in Digital Marketing have also been found to be vital for the promotions related to achieving

higher levels after becoming a marketing manager. My experience of a minimum of 5 years

in the position of serving as a marketing manager would be required to get promoted to the

level of a marketing director for a particular company. The next level for me to grade up

would need another 5-10 years of the gap to obtain the position of marketing research

director of a particular reputed brand or marketing organization within Canada.3. Inventory

1. Skills My skills portray the inclusion of problem - solving attitude

along with decision-making and team building. Marketing and

journalism skills associated with maintaining public relations

have been of great importance. I have experience in

advertising and business strategies that would be needed to be

evolved within an employee to become the marketing manager

of a reputed firm.
2. Abilities My ability to understand the demands and needs of the buyers

and the sales processes will be essential, and to undergo

creative writing skills and innovative decision-making

processes have been other vital abilities to be incorporated into

a marketing manager. Growing network, communication skills

and adaptability to changes and the ability to face harsh

situations are very important for me to become a marketing

manager.

along with customer management training are important

sections to be well trained before becoming a marketing

manager to obtain sustainability for the company.


4. Education MBA in marketing and digital marketing.

5. Qualification Ability to handle situations along with build good customer

relationships for the sustainability of the business. Attentive

and ability to sell products along with the adoption of good

communication skills. High knowledge in mathematics along

with business management band customer management skills.

4. Action steps

My initial step would be qualifying for a post-graduation in MBA in Canada. My

second step would be to join a marketing analyst in a marketing firm in Canada to gain

practical knowledge and expertise. My third and final step would be to obtain the position of

junior manager and then marketing manager in a well-reputed firm in Canada.

execution of the process.

● I may find issues associated with interpreting the marketing data that would be vital

for an organization in the marketing field.

● I may encounter communication gaps between the marketing department and the

company's manager led to distrust and conflicts.

● Insufficient training for marketing managers leads to involvement in issues regarding

management and problem-solving and execution within the team.

● The incapability of closing the loop during team management associated with the

marketing strategies and planning within a concerned firm by the marketing manager.
