Academic SOP:

My choice to pursue a career in management stems from the potential of this course to teach me
about the emerging business environment and also the varying opportunities available to a graduate
of MBA.

As a graduate in Business Economics (BBE) from Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi. I
have always studied Management, critical decision-making, and marketing case studies; this
fundamental knowledge would prove to be a great asset during my MBA. Acting as the Sports Head
during School and President at College has assisted me in refining my Leadership Qualities and
taught me the value of teamwork and PR skills. The preparation for MBA Entrance Examinations
along with pursuing MBA from DTU has aided me in improving my Time Management Skills and
makes me believe I have the potential to be a good manager. Furthermore, my desire to hone my
skills towards a global market prospect made pursuing an MBA the next logical step.

Convincing college executives, Sponsors by using negotiation skills and the combination of exposures
from directing events has helped me to recognize that I possess basic skills that are fundamental for
a career in management. On the other hand, having a blunt attitude, unwillingness to perform
redundant tasks, and having mediocre writing skills also showed me the loopholes and places of
improvement in me. All this strengthens my enthusiasm to pursue MBA from a prestigious college
where I can learn necessary attributes that I lack, groom under experienced faculty and can develop
a valuable network of like-minded people.

Since I am particularly interested in sales and marketing, I would like to delve deeper into subjects
like customer relationship management, business research methods, and segment advertising. I
would aim to intern with a retail company where I would be able to learn more about product
marketing, brand loyalty, and supply-chain management.

I want MBA to be my median for the realization of my goals. Fully aware of the valiant conviction
and commitment this career demands, I am convinced that I will live up to the expectations.
