Statement of Purpose

Studying for MBA requires a certain determination and strength of character. In recent years,
the business world has become rapidly integrated across once restricting borders, and anyone
with high goals in the business world must have an international perspective and be aware of
the realities of different international arenas. I am unique, and uniquely fortunate, to have a
diverse background both academically and socially which has exposed me to different people,
cultures, and languages. I am familiar with the increasingly important markets of this region, and
as such I am thoroughly prepared for the demands and challenges presented by undertaking
study in the MBA program at your institution.

I am well versed in managerial skills as I was born into a family of entrepreneurs. My grandfather
and father are a businessman and I have learnt a lot from them about the business. During the
learning curve, I also realised the role of technology in evolving business. For example, storing
information about products using databases, providing advertising and promotional literature
using computer graphics packages, creating websites as a promotional and informational tool for
companies or organisations.

From a young age, I have set goals beyond those of my peers. I decided to pursue Bachelor’s in
Business Administration (BBA) in the field Marketing as it would facilitate my future goals . I also
did an internship in Zinglin Media Private Limited where i got the opportunity to learn
marketing in real world and also influencer management. During my BBA, I learnt effective
leadership techniques, communicate competently in a business environment and also an
understanding of the importance and relevance of multicultural and diversity issues in business.
I was actively involved in extra curricular activities since childhood. I have a keen interest in
oratory competition and has won many certificates. I have been part of the organizing team of
various events organized by the college.
A B-school education will complement my knowledge and help me understand how business
works completely. For implementing an idea, it is the mix of knowledge and assumption of
leadership role in any program, that allows a person to bring about any change. Now, I am
writing this statement to possibly earn a slot in your formidable university for my master’s
education. I am planning to take up Master in Business Administration course at your esteemed
university.
Symbiosis University with its eminent faculty and competitive atmosphere will not only provide
me basic management education but will also help in nurturing the leadership qualities in me.
An opportunity to learn from the industry's finest minds and engaging people with diverse
background shall certainly help me to get my dream job through campus placements. It will be
essential in developing my career potential and providing me with greater opportunities for
future success.
