Have you ever really sat and thought about how diverse the Native American and

the Europeans were? The Native Americans liked having the New World to themselves
and as we can imagine when the Europeans stepped into the New World that is when
conflicts arose between that Native Americans and Europeans. Due to the Europeans the
Native Americans were very welcoming and inviting. However that was not the case with
the Europeans they were very hateful individuals and liked to bully the Native Americans
. The Europeans were very greedy and all about Crops and cashing anything to get more
money in their hands. On the other hand the Native Americans were all about growing
crops for their civilization to use. If you were content in what they called this New World
what would your attitude be like?
When the Native American Civilization came into the New world it was just their
civilization so they were pretty content with how it was going. Native Americans were all
about growing crops and the outdoors so they had their own system you could say.
However even though they were content with how the New World was with just their
civilization they were welcoming to the Europeans at first. I wish I could tell you that the
Europeans had a friendly and inviting attitude towards the Native Americans but however
that was not the case. The Europeans were all about crops and cash. The Europeans were
just straight out hateful and abusive to the Native Americans. With the Europeans being
all about cash they were always looking for crops to sell they would even sell tobacco.
Eventually the Native Americans got tired of being abused and taken advantage of and
had stood up for themselves.
The first encounter of the Native American and Europeans was one to remember.
When the Europeans had come to the New World like listed in the above paragraphs they
were bullies to the Native Americans and wanted things their way they did not like the
idea of sharing a civilization. However the Native Americans were not budging no matter
how bad they got treated or how crowded the New World was getting they stood their
ground. Europeans wanted the land for all their crops. The one thing that the two
civilizations did have in common were they both grew crops. However the Native
Americans grew crops for them and the Europeans grew crops to sell as we already had
talked about.
The Native Americans did not understand what they were doing so wrong to the
Europeans for them to keep being abusive to all their individuals. The Native American
chief eventually wrote a letter to this individual about the issues that had taken place in
the new world. In that letter the Native American expressed his concerns to this
individual. I believe when the Native American chief had written his letter to this
Individual he had stated that the Europeans were no better than the Native Americans so
why were they being treated like so by the Europeans. Also in this letter you could tell
the Chief of the Native Americans was trying to be nice but it was the small remarks that
made the readers notice how upset and concerned he was for not only himself but the rest
of the Native Americans in the New World.
Here is the Diversity between the Native American and the Europeans when they
joined the New World. Also in the above paragraph we discuss their attitudes towards
each other, differences and similarities, and also talk about the first encounters between
the two in the New World. All I can do is think about how I would have reacted and been
towards the Europeans if they came into the New World being hateful and abusive. We
also talked about the letter that the Native American Chief had written to the individual
addressing his concern for himself and his people. So closing I leave you with this
question: if you had to share the New World with the Europeans how would your attitude
be?
