Structuro W865-SRV is a high performance hyperplasticiser
intended for applications where longer workability retention
is required, and it has been developed for use in:
 Long distance pourings with hydration control
 Highrise pumped concrete
 High strength/grade e.g.(M60/M70/M80)
allowing production of consistent concrete properties around
the required dosage.

Fosroc provides a technical advisory service for on-site
assistance and advice on mix design, admixture selection,
evaluation trials and dispensing equipment.

The optimum dosage of Structuro W865-SRV to meet
specific requirements should always be determined by trials
using the materials and conditions that will be experienced
in use. The guideline dosage range is between 0.2 to 1.7
kg/100kgs of cementitious material.
Use at other dosages
Dosages outside the guidelines dosage range quoted above
can be used to meet particular mix requirements. Contact
Fosroc for advice in these cases.

Description

Structuro W865-SRV is unique molecule with in-built

viscosity modifying property to produce bleeding-free
workable concrete for longer workability retention and no
need to add additional Viscosity Modifying Agent (VMA). It is
also most suitable for SCC kind of concrete applications to
maintain rheology. Structuro W865-SRV combines the
properties of water reduction and workability retention. It

Instructions for use Storage

Compatibility Structuro W865-SRV has a minimum shelf life of 6 months

Structuro W 865-SRV is suitable for use with all types of
concrete mixes produced with Portland Cements (OPC) and
mixes with cement replacement materials such as PFA,
GGBFS, SRC cements or microsilica.
Structuro W 865-SRV should not be used in combination
with any other admixture unless prior approval is obtained
from your local Fosroc office.
All admixtures should be added to the concrete separately
and must not be premixed together prior to addition. The
use of a combination of admixtures in the same concrete mix
may alter the setting time. The resultant properties of
concrete containing more than one admixture should be
assessed by lab/or plant trial mixes to confirm the desired
properties of concrete before use.
Dispensing
provided the temperature is kept within the range of 5°C to
50°C. Should the temperature of the product fall outside this
range then contact Fosroc for advice.
Precautions
Health and safety
Structuro W865-SRV does not fall into the hazard classifica-
tions of current regulations. However, it should not be
swallowed or allowed to come into contact with skin and
eyes.
Suitable protective gloves and goggles should be worn.
Splashes on the skin should be removed with water. In case
of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water
and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical atten-
tion immediately - do not induce vomiting.

The correct quantity of Structuro W 865-SRV as per the
approved mix designs based on lab/plant trials should be
measured by means of a recommended dispenser or load
cells. Normally, the admixture should then be added to the
concrete with the mixing water to obtain the best results.
These admixtures are not recommended to be added in dry
aggregates or cement. It should always be added in wet mix
conditions.
Full blending of the admixture and the concrete should be
ensured by mixing at high speed.

Fire
Structuro W865-SRV is water based and non-flammable.
Cleaning and disposal
Spillages of Structuro W865-SRV should be absorbed onto
sand, earth or vermiculite and transferred to suitable contain-
ers. Remnants should be hosed down with large quantities
of water.

Packaging The disposal of excess or waste material should be carried

out in accordance with local legislation under the guidance of
Structuro W865-SRV the local waste regulatory authority.

For larger users, storage tanks can be supplied.
