Thy said that my blood was tobe tested before they could have it, and if they tested and found it unfit tobe given to anyone, would it be okay to tell me why it was unfl? I replied, "Yes, why not? After al it's my blood, smi?" ‘So drops of blood were taken and tested. ‘A couple of weeks later, on June 184, | went back to get my results and I was told my blood was not good enough to donate here or anywhere else in the world. Why? Because it was infected with the HIV virus. In other words, they told me I was HIV positive.
