A MANIFESTO DELIVERED BY TETTEH PRINCESS, ASPIRING FOR THE POSITION OF DIBSSAG WOMEN

COMMISSIONER 2022/2023.

The Chair person, The Dean of Students, members of staff, Ladies and Gentlemen, of our noble
department I greet you all.
I am Princess Tetteh a level 100 DBS IT student, aspiring for the position of DIBSSAG women
commissioner for the upcoming departmental elections in Koforidua Technical University.
Department of professional studies. The women commissioner advices students especially women
in all respect, to go extra mile and to be able to stand out in the world of education and work.
I am inspired to take this position because, I am someone who have passion for humanity and, I
believe it does not take rich people to help but it takes someone with passion and zeal to serve
humanity.

Anything concerning women has always been my focus. I want others to know that it takes a
determined mind but not a rich mind to lead and be an inspiration to the lives of others. I also
believe in learning through leadership roles.
If I am given the mantle, I will aim at;

1. I will organize empowerment summits to build a strong insight for women and their
individual ambition in life.

2. Organize activities on Soap making, Makeups, Beads making and Pastries.

3. Provide education on menstrual hygiene.

4. I will also seek to encourage them to partake in women empowerment activities on

campus such as the face of KTU to enhance their confidence and also to make them
understand the need to play leadership roles as a woman without fear. When you
vote for me, I will support to organize departmental activities such as games, trips
and quiz competition. With the help of my executives, these activities will be
accomplished so that, students can socialize, learn, have fun and release stress from
classroom activities for their health being.
I Strongly believe these aims will have a positive impact on students and the department as a
whole. Warriors, vote for Tetteh Princess as your WOCOM and together we can create a legacy
to leave behind. Vote for me because I have the passion and dedication to affect change through
this position, no one will work for you. Keep calm and empower women and together we will
keep ‘’aiming higher with confidence’’.
