What was the focus of the course work this week?
This week, the course focuses on the necessity of strategic planning and management activities for businesses in order to leverage controls and systems to ensure the effective execution of programs. Also discussed is ethical auditing. We identified the pros and cons of ethics auditing and discovered the audit's strategic function. The text then describes the essential components of an effective ethics auditing process. In addition, the connection between business ethics and regulatory oversight was discussed. What were the topics? Business ethics auditing and its benefits were discussed, along with ethical crisis management, measuring non-financial ethical performance, auditing risks, and auditing requirements. In addition, the auditing procedure and its components were examined in depth. The case study on the significance of an ethical audit when top management lacks the motivation to conduct one was discussed. The case study on the connection between regulatory oversight and business ethics. How does it relate to your work? As part of my job, it is essential that I adhere to manufacturing standards and procedures for the construction industry. It is essential that we acknowledge the actions of corporations and adhere to their regulatory, legal, and ethical obligations. An Ethics and Integrity Management Team (EICT) adheres to a policy to monitor and inspect employee activities, provide a forum for employees, and reveal issues of enforcement or legal concern. The team establishes guidelines for ethics and integrity, implements the principles through a written policy, and creates an organizational structure that facilitates the effectiveness of the program. When the team conducts an audit in my area of responsibility, it is my responsibility to provide honest feedback.
