Abstract

Tension stress is caused when axially-loaded forces are pulling away from an object's
center, and perpendicular to the object's surface. This stress can cause the length of the
material will increase in tensile direction but the volume of the material will remains
constant. The tension is more associated with wires or bars since there are in most cases
subjected to this effor, to understand how the strain occurs in the wires there's a resolution
of an exercises which are made up of systems of bodies in equilibrium in which the wires
involved suffer a tension effort by the forces to which they are subjected. Taking these two
important points in consideration, It was carried out the resolution of these applying the
equilibrium conditions, sum of forces, sum of moments and the definition of effort looking
for leaving the unknown requested in each subsection in terms of the values generated with
the formulas and known values given for the problem. It can be proved so when the wires
are subjet to two forces these tend a to deform in the sense of this forces kepping a relation
in both in situations that range from a daily environment to a work environment
