BT-01 BUILDING TECHNOLOGY 01

Course Description: Building materials- its properties, composition, application,


and articulation including the mode of specifying these materials in building
constructions.
Course Outcome:
At the end of the course the students will be able to:
1. Distinguish the basic properties and composition of building construction
and finishing materials including their application
and articulation in the building envelope.
2. Know the practical application of building materials its application,
installation, fabrication, and maintenance methods and
techniques relative to building design and construction in accordance
with the standard and uniform system of specification.
3. Use well the language of building materials in accordance with the
building construction industry, both English and local.
