PERFORMANCETASK1

Search for a blog (not a vlog, ex. https://jerryjenkins.com/best-creative-writing-blogs/) that

interests you, then interact with the blogger by posting a comment or leaving an inquiry on
the website. Take a screenshot of the webpage with your message, print it on a short bond
paper and write why you chose the website — focusing on how the page and contents are
presented. (20 Points)

I chose the website because I like food and it has helpful tips. However, the layout is plain
and the content is repetitive. I prefer more interesting food blogs.

PERFORMANCETASK3

I. Answer the following questions. You may use a separate sheet for your answers. (20
points)

1. What are your thoughts on photo manipulation (Photoshop) in beauty and fashion magazines—
altering and enhancing the images in publications? My thoughts about photo
manipulation are mixed because it can have both positive and negative aspects. For
example, applications like Remini can enhance the quality of blurry pictures, which is
beneficial. However, AI-generated pictures can also be dangerous as they can be
used against innocent people.

2. What is your opinion on the use of drones in public and private areas (e.g. subdivisions and
university grounds)? I
think it is a good idea to use drones anywhere because
they make it easier to analyze the area without being in danger.

3. What are some do’s and don’ts in using social media that people should be reminded of?
We should only post appropriate content and be polite when interacting with other people
we engage with. We shouldn’t post our problems on social media to seek comfort or help,
and we shouldn’t bully or criticize things that we don’t like.

4. What issues with new media have you encountered? Tell us about that experience.s
The issues that I have encountered were some news about celebrities that have nothing
to do with people or nature, and people glorify them more than God. Some were just
about trending on social media platforms, like focusing on what is the most entertaining
trend on social media.
