Chapter 1
Rationale of the study
- The researcher conducted qualitative research which focuses on different type of
sanitation procedure used in Talisay City fast-food chain/restaurants if the used
procedure is healthy or might be a problem for the consumers.
SOP
They want to identify the problem of sanitation in the said fast-food chains (if there’s
any) like personal hygiene, cross contamination and time/temperature.
In this chapter, the researcher focuses on the reason of why they want to conduct this
study and how relevant it is today. It is designed to identify if the result of the study has
a negative or positive impact to the society. The objective of this study and some
possible problem in the outcome can be seen in this chapter.

Chapter 2
RRL
- They used a study from America where the researcher asks for a person to work in
different fast-food restaurant and observe the employees and their sanitary procedure.
The study used in RRL concludes that not every restaurant has implemented proper
sanitary procedure and can be a cause to a health problem. This is a good example of
RRL for the study because it also focuses on the quality of the restaurant’s sanitary
procedure which can be used as a guide for their research on how they have to conduct
it efficiently.

Chapter 3
Research methodology
- The researcher used descriptive qualitative research and comparative method for the
study by interviewing (face to face) the respondents (manager of fast-food restaurant).
By using these methods and by the guide of the used RRL, the researcher can now
determine if the sanitary procedures of the said fast-food restaurants is healthy enough
or might be lacking that can cause health problems for the consumers.
Overall, the researcher uses every method possible for the study to be more efficient,
however, I suggest to widen their respondents and include a reasonable number of
consumers as a participant to be interviewed to gain more information about how they
view the restaurant’s cleanliness. Moreover, interviewing a crew in the said fast-food
restaurant about sanitary procedure will also help the study, just like how the RRL used
to conduct their research.
