Should Kids be Social Media Influencers?

We live in a century filled with technology. One of the common things that many
people use is social media. Nowadays, social media is used to make money, campaign, and a
platform to influence people. There are social media influencers, people who build their
reputation for their skills and expertise on a specific topic, and they can influence their
followers from what they post, share, or comment. Some of the influencers are already adults,
but there is also a kid influencer, and I think for some reason it’s a good idea to let kids be
social media influencers.
Being a kids influencers can increase self-confidence and communication skills. Kid
influencers should appear in front of the camera and show off what they have. They can have
a collaboration with other influencers and they meet many people, such as their fans. Also,
they need to communicate with their production crew about the content and it helps kid
influencers to develop their social skill.
Becoming an influencer can push the kid to do positive things or hobbies that they
want. Kids can focus on their hobby and improve it until they become experts in their field.
They can learn many things and could decide what they want to be when they are adults.
Being a kids influencer also help them to meet people that are expert in some field, and kids
can learn more from them. Kids influencers also have many relations that could help them
achieve what they want to do.
Kids influencers could help other kids. Becoming an influencer means that you can
make people do what you do for others in a good way, for example, you upload content about
‘save the trees’ and your followers will follow your action to save the trees. Kid influencers
can help other kids by doing some DIY (Do It Yourself) content to help kids think creatively,
they can also make a little campaign about environmental awareness so the other kids could
follow the action and understand the campaign.
It’s not easy being a kid influencer, despite the positive things there are also negative
things behind it. As parents, we should control their content and social media account to
prevent dangerous things. We should let them choose, if they want to become an influencer
or not, we can’t force them to be an influencer. Instead of only thinking about the negative
sides, we should know that many kids influencers could help others through their content.
They can improve their hobby and creative thinking by doing content about it, for example,

their acting.
Nowadays many kids influencers are already successful at such a young age. Being a
kid influencer gives a big opportunity for their future. They can learn many things and
develop their social skill. They also could help others with their content. And also, as parents,
we should control their social media, and let them choose if they want to be kid influencers or
not, we can’t force them to be social media influencers.
