ONLINE MCQ (QUIZ) ASSESSMENT

Compiled for the PLS1502 (Introduction to African Philosophy) module.

MCQ (Quiz) or Online assessments are conducted online, on the MyExam portal
(https://chs.myexams.unisa.ac.za), within a specific time period of (2 hours
maximum) and will have a proctoring tool (Invigilation) aspect to them. You
s h o u l d already be familiar with MCQ type of assessments as they are the same
as the MCQs that you did for your assignments.
The difference between the exam MCQ and formative assessment is that you will
have to have your laptop or computer or cellphone camera ON throughout the
exam. This function has been added on MyExam as an invigilation tool called
Proctoring to invigilate exams and combat cheating.

Invigilation procedure
For your online exam, your invigilation will be in the form of having your camera
recording you throughout the entire period of your writing process. This
means you need to give the MyExam platform access to your camera. It’s
recommended that you have 500mb of data or 1gig of data to be safe at the
start of your exam.

The following steps will guide you on how to complete an MCQ exam assessment:
