Puyt Ave, Makati CRy, Priipines 1209 Republi f the Phtppines Tel, Nos, 895-4258 Fax No, 896-4220 erat pcabshil@vanes com wv ov pt BOARD RESOLUTION NO, 3/3 Series of 2011 REQUIRING THE PAYMENT OF NON-REFUNDABLE UPFRONT LICENSE FEES AT THE TIME OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE CORRESPONDING LICENSE APPLICATION WHEREAS, under RA 4566 (Contractor's License Law) as amended by PD 1748, the Philippine Contractor's Accreditation Board is tasked with the issuance of the contractor's license after a thorough evaluation of the qualifications of the applicant; WHEREAS, after the approval of the license application, so much time is spent for license release due to clogging of claimants awaiting to pay the corresponding fees, which is a pre-requisite requirement; WHEREAS, on the other hand, there has been quite a number of cases wherein contractors no longer claim the approved license and thus avoid the payment of fees resulting in waste of administrative time, effort and resources; WHEREAS, upfront payment of license fees will promote administrative efficiency not only on claimants of the license but in fee collection as well; NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing, the Board RESOLVED to require all applicants to pay non-refundable fees upfront for all types of license applications upon acceptance thereof effective immediately. Further the Board RESOLVED that this RESOLUTION shall apply to both the license application and application for Goverment Registration and Classification. ‘SO ORDERED. 18 May 2011 [ev F. Par RAMON F.
