company has provided you with the following information for the month of February 2023.
Perform various tasks in Tally ERP 9 based on the given information.
a) Create a new company named "XYZ Retail Store" in Tally ERP 9 with the following details:
• Company Name: XYZ Retail Store
• Financial Year: 2022-2023
• Base Currency: Indian Rupees (INR)

b) Set up the following ledgers in Tally ERP 9:

• Sales Account
• Purchase Account
• Cash Account
• Bank Account
• Stock-in-hand

c) Record the following transactions in Tally ERP 9: a) February 1: Purchased 100 shirts from
ABC Wholesalers for INR 1,75,000 on credit. b) February 5: Sold 50 shirts to Customer A
for INR 1,00,000 on credit. c) February 10: Received INR 70,000 from Customer A. d)
February 15: Paid INR 1,40,000 to ABC Wholesalers. e) February 20: Purchased 80 pairs of
jeans from DEF Suppliers for INR 2,20,000 on credit. f) February 25: Sold 60 pairs of jeans
to Customer B for INR 1,80,000 on credit. g) February 28: Received INR 1,50,000 from
Customer B.
d) Generate the following reports in Tally ERP 9: a) Trial Balance as of February 28, 2023. b)
Profit and Loss Statement for the month of February 2023. c) Balance Sheet as of February
28, 2023. d) Stock Summary as of February 28, 2023.
