1. ABC Enterprises is a trading company dealing in electronic goods. The company has
provided you with the following information for the month of January 2023. You are
required to perform various tasks using Tally ERP 9 based on the given information.
a) Create a new company named "ABC Enterprises" in Tally ERP 9 with the following
details:
• Company Name: ABC Enterprises
• Financial Year: 2022-2023
• Base Currency: Indian Rupees (INR)

b) Set up the following ledgers in Tally ERP 9:

• Sales Account
• Purchase Account
• Cash Account
• Bank Account
• Stock-in-hand

c) Record the following transactions in Tally ERP 9: a) January 1: Purchased 50 mobile phones
from XYZ Suppliers for INR 500,000 on credit. b) January 5: Sold 30 mobile phones to
Customer A for INR 300,000 on credit. c) January 10: Received INR 200,000 from
Customer A. d) January 15: Paid INR 400,000 to XYZ Suppliers. e) January 20: Purchased
20 mobile phones from DEF Suppliers for INR 200,000 on credit. f) January 25: Sold 25
mobile phones to Customer B for INR 250,000 on credit. g) January 30: Received INR
150,000 from Customer B.
d) Generate the following reports in Tally ERP 9: a) Trial Balance as of January 31, 2023. b)
Profit and Loss Statement for the month of January 2023. c) Balance Sheet as of January 31,
2023. d) Receivables and Payables Aging Report as of January 31, 2023.
