Plasma’s Potential
Possible time might come that telecommunication connections will be lost.
After sun’s activity peaked over the several years, once again happened solar activities with its raging flaws and the
spewing of large quantities of plasma back into the Solar System. With this, massive complications and frightfully
awaited catastrophe has been on the watch.
Our star has recently expelled large amount of Coronal Mass Ejections or CME’s. As mentioned by the Space
Weather Prediction Center (SPWC), described this occurrence as an “Amazing Event” after it emits solar flares with an
X2.8 rating.
Many of the space conducting research agency such as the European Space Agency claiming that this solar storm
was indeed one of the most powerful recorded in history. With this case, scientists have shown fatal flaws of this event as
if it will possibly hit Earth from one point leading to the fear of devastation.
In particular, CME’s are group of large amount of clouds of electromagnetic and highly magnetized plasma that
erupts from the body of the sun and travels to space calling it as a solar storm. It is said to have particles built up of
radiation and large explosions of plasma.
The plasma particles in exploded CMEs can led to complications around our planet weakening our planet’s
magnetic field. This can also cause harsh amounts of disruption on earth cutting electricity and telecommunications field.
Moreover, this could interrupt internet from transmitting and can cause geomagnetic storms which disturbs the Earth’s
magnetosphere.
According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), this storm could potentially wipe out
telecommunication connection and pose risk to their spacecraft astronauts. It is said to have an internet apocalypse as the
plasma travels affecting the satellite’s functionality.
The immense situation is broad to prepare since possibilities are probabilities which our responsibilities are needed
