thing. They are generally
used after prepositions.
Stressed pronouns
Some of the French prepositions are

● Après (After)
● Avant (Before)
● Avec (With)
● Chez (At his/her place)
Je (subject pronoun) changes to moi
(stressed pronoun) after a preposition

● Il va avec moi (He is going with me)

● Il vient chez moi ce soir (He is coming at


my place tonight).
Tu (subject pronoun) changes to toi
(stressed pronoun) after a preposition

● Sophie mange avec toi ? (Is Sophie


eating with you? )

● Vous allez avec lui (You are going


with him)

● Vous allez chez lui (You are going
