and related cultural practises inside holy groves.
2. To identify and categorise the important biological resources (biodiversity) in the sacred
groves of the community to maintain thorough records of the beliefs, customs and taboos
related to groves.
3. Evaluating how dependent the local communities are on this shared resource; and to
examine conservation practises generally and to comprehend the fundamental idea behind
the holy groves' long-standing customs.
