TM9-8000 is a manual related to basics of automobile technology. This
manual is a major reference material used during YO’s Basic Course. Other than the courses, the manual is consulted frequently to solve vehicles related problems and concepts. Present version of the manual contains figures in black and white, which are difficult to understand. Moreover, comprehension of the concepts becomes difficult for an individual reading the manual for the first time or without guidance. Furthermore, the manual is usually read in the form of hard copy. The manual is also available in the soft form (PDF Format). A new version of the manual, in the soft form, has been developed by College of EME which incorporates the following:- Figure Links (Internal). Linking of figure references with in the manual will help the reader to quickly switch to the figure by a single click. The reader can come back at the reading page with the back button provided in Acrobat Reader. These links in the manual are colored GREEN. Animation Link (External). These links are colored YELLOW. The links refer to an animated file which will help the reader in better comprehension of the concept. The animations help in quick and in depth understanding of the assemblies and their working principles. There is a separate folder in this DVD containing animation and colored figures. Before Using Manual. Programs which are required to be installed in the computer for the animations, linked in the manual, to run properly are as as follows:- Acrobat Reader 8.0 Flash Media Player Strom Coded Media Player Real Player 11.0 Windows Media Player DVD Contains Following TM9-8000 in PDF form Folder containing animations and figures, which are linked with the manual Folder containing necessary softwares to run animations
