Hi! My name is Maria and I’m a ten year old student. I’m on the 6th
grade and I like school a lot. This is my new school. It’s a big school for
boys and girls. There are 700 pupils and lots of teachers too. Upstairs,
there are many classrooms, toilets and a library. The computer room is
next to the staff room. Downstairs, there is the canteen where pupils have
lunch and the administration. Outside, there is the gym. It’s behind the
school. And my favourite: a large playground. I usually spend my school
breaks playing football. My favourite subject is Geography because I like
to learn new things about the world. I like French too. My teachers are
really nice and helpful.

Hello, my name is Hadjer. I’m 12 years old. I’m a pupil at Brahimi Belkacem middle school. I am in
class 1MS1.
In my school, I have the right for a good and free education, a safe environment, equal opportunities
in class, play in the schoolyard and express my opinions.
We have some duties like : I stand for the national anthem, I obey and follow school rules, I respect
the opinions of my classmates, I take care of my school materials and I do my best in class.
We have important school rules that we follow like, I don’t arrive late. I don’t chew gum in class. I
raise my hand to speak.
