DOMAIN AND RANGE

The domain of a function may be stated explicitly or may be implied by the expression
that defines the function. If not explicitly stated, the domain of a function is the set of all
real numbers for which the expression is defined as a real number.

The range of a function is the set of all possible output values of a function.
