We All Fall Down is a
novel by Canadian
author Eric Walters

Eric was born in


Toronto in 1957, which
makes him "real old".
But, as Eric says,
"Just because I have to
grow old doesn't mean
that I have to grow
up!"
This is the story of a son and
father who, against all odds,
managed to survive when almost
no one else could.
Will
at the beginning of the
story, 9th grader Will and
his classmates are given a
school assignment to visit
their parents' work

When they arrive at work
in the morning, the
worst happens, a
civilian plane crashes
into the North Tower
Not their tower is damaged, but
Will's father tries to convince
everyone to leave the tower,
anyway.

does not want to leave it, and
Will and his dad lose a lot of
time by escaping them.
But they do not have time to
evacuate, because the second
civilian plane crashes into
their South Tower

about an evacuation

This book is based on a true story
that happened September 11, 2001
Maybe Will, his father, and
Thing weren't real. But, I
can definitely say that in
this story there was
definitely pain, fear, panic,
and even death of real
people.
