 The Nobel Peace Prize for 2019 The Norwegian Nobel Peace Prize Committee was awarded to Ethiopian Prime
Minister Abe Ahmed Ali “for his efforts to achieve peace and international cooperation, especially for his decisive
initiative to resolve the border dispute with neighboring Eritrea.” [1] By the Norwegian Nobel Committee on 11
October 2019. Norwegian Nobel's new winner, Abi Ahmed, is a strong candidate for Swedish environmental
activist Greta Tonberg, Brazilian environmentalist Ra‫ني‬ni Mito‫وك‬tiri, and Reporters Without Borders, which
advocates freedom of information and press freedom. [2] The successor to Congolese obstetrician Denis
Mukwigi and Yazidi Iraqi Nadia Murad, who both won the award last year to combat sexual violence. He heard
that the Nobel Peace Prize had been won by Abe Ahmed. [4]


imagine how the rest of Africa's leaders will take it positively to work on the peacebuilding process on our
