Good day! We, DENZ GABRIEL P. MARASIGAN and RAFAEL I. TAYO are 5th-
year students currently taking BS in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at Cavite State
University and is currently conducting research entitled, “Development of a Photovoltaic
Insect Light Water Trap in Rice Production”. The researchers strongly believes that the
results of this study will greatly help to improve and promote a better crop yield for the rice
farmer production.

With this regard, the researchers are humbly asking a request of assistance to conduct
interviews with selected rice farmers in Maragondon, Cavite, for this will be part of our
research purposes. As part of our academic study, we aim to gather insights and perspectives
from local farmers to enhance our understanding of rice farming practices in the selected
area. These interview will be scheduled at the convenience of the both the participants and
the researchers. These interview will serve as valuable contributions to the development and
improvement of our research output. We assure you that any information gathered during
these interviews will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and will be used solely for
the purpose stated above.

 The table below shows the list of rice farmers in Maragondon, Cavite, along with
their respective addresses are listed below. And to maintain the objectivity and fairness, a
randomized technique was used in selecting participants from the overall list of rice farmers.
By employing this randomized approach, the selection process will be transparent, ensuring
a much wider perspective is obtained in this research project.
