Let’s bow our heads and place ourselves in the presence of the

Lord. Heavenly father, we praise and magnify your most Holy

Name. We humbly ask for the forgiveness of our sins; have
mercy on us, oh lord.
As we begin this new academic year, we ask for your guidance,
wisdom and support. Bless and guide our new students as they
begin their journey with us. May they able to retain the
invaluable knowledge and treasure them in their hearts as they
become the persons the world madly needs.
Lord, we thank you for the blessing that you have bestowed
upon the University, the College of Teacher education and its
faculty and staff. Lead us in all the work we do, so that our
students may reap the benefits of our collective wisdom and
experience.
O holy spirit, be with us in today’s orientation seminar. Fill our
minds with possibilities and hope. Enable us to face the
challenges of this new learning modalities.
And finally, dear God, as we move into the future, Unite us.
Inspire us, sustain us. Make us person fully alive eager to know,
love and serve you ever more.
