In what ways do we nurture our preschoolers?

Preschool education includes children aged 3-5 years old and has certain features that
facilitate the process of thinking among the children. Through games, drawing, and music
children are taught things about the environment and about the society in which they live.

In our preschool, children will learn to strengthen their social and emotional
development. Children will also learn how to compromise, be respectful and solve problems.
Our preschool provides an environment for children to explore, gain a sense of self, play with
peers, and build self-confidence.

1. Language and cognitive skills

Children’s language is nurtured in a language-rich environment. In the classroom, our

teachers help children strengthen their language by introducing new vocabulary during art,
snack time, and other fun activities. Our teachers engage students by provoking questions to
allow them to learn language through singing, talking about books, and creative play.

2. Academics

In our preschool, pre-math and pre-literacy skills are introduced. The children will
begin to strengthen their fine motor skills, which are needed to learn how to write properly.
Our preschool has introduced technology into the academic curriculum. Children progress
well by using this technology.

3. Self Confidence

In our preschool, children learn to do things for themselves such as washing their
hands, going to the bathroom, removing their shoes, and putting their belongings in their
place, without parents or teachers doing it for them. Children may have classroom jobs and
take pride in helping out in the classroom. Learning new things helps them to build self-
confidence.

4. Hands-On Science

At this age, curiosity is at an all-time high. Children are also very interested in
exploring their environment. Since hands-on learning is often more effective with young kids,
our preschool science curriculum is designed to be interactive. Children might also
participate in water play activities or conduct simple experiments. This early introduction
creates background knowledge that your student can later build upon.

5. Early Childhood Social Studies

In social studies, preschoolers will learn about their community and the people who
live in it. This might include learning about community helpers, such as police officers,
firefighters, and doctors. They’ll also learn about different celebrations and holidays.

6. Social-Emotional Learning

In addition to the academic content areas, our preschool also provides an opportunity
for children to learn important social skills such as how to:

• Take turns

• Resolve conflict

• Listen to and follow instructions

• Cooperate with others

• Share things

In addition to social skills, the games and activities will help your child practice what
they’ve been learning and have fun!

7. Communication Skills

For your child to be successful in school (and in life), it’s vital for them to have strong
communication skills. These skills include both speaking and listening. At this age, children
will practice communication as they express their needs and wants, participate in group
activities, and ask questions about what they’re learning. They’ll also have the opportunity to
talk about their thoughts and feelings.

8. Physical Education

During the preschool years, children will continue to develop their fine and gross
motor skills. These are the skills they use to move their bodies and manipulate objects. As
they complete different physical activities, they’ll strengthen their muscles and improve their
coordination.

9. Arts and Crafts

Art is an important part of the preschool curriculum. It’s not only a great way for
children to express themselves, but it also helps them develop fine motor skills and learn
about colors, shapes, and patterns. During art time, children will have the opportunity to try
out a variety of materials and mediums, such as crayons, markers, paint, clay, and more.
They’ll experiment with different techniques, such as mixing colors and making patterns.
And they’ll create masterpieces to take home and share with their parents.
