Our Counselling Support Program provides
emotional and mental support for students
and is the result of our research conducted
over several years.
With the rise in difficulties experienced by
students, we created a program that will help
students adjust better to the school and
academic environment, have realistic
expectations from themselves and overcome
emotional and behavioural difficulties that they
experience.
Additionally, students are also imparted with
skills to gain confidence and self esteem about
themselves, and maintain positive social
relationships with their family and peers.

convenience or they can meet through teacher

Socio-Emotional learning (SEL) Program by
Health Basix has been thoughtfully designed by
Psychologists who have gained experience in
identifying challenges most students face in
todays climate.
With the intention of building confident,
strong-willed and empathetic qualities in
students, to giving them the platform to apply
their learnings in real-life situations. Our program
will prepare students to

The 8 month SEL Program is divided into Eight
core topics. Each topic will be delivered once a
month for one hour period.
The topics will carry goals, action-plan, and
activities. For students, to take home, a
take-home sheet will be provided to reinforce
the session learnings.
These take-home sheets will contain worksheets
and activities which students can implement
within their families or communities.
Over the end of the eight-month program,
students will be given a platform to share their key
learnings with each other to further apply their
learnings into practice.
SEL Program is carefully designed for students by
keeping the student's developmental stages and
academic goals into perspective

Over the last two years, there has been a significant
rise in problems with academics for students. Our
team at health basix understands the struggles and
its impact on students which is why we have
partnered with trained, certified and experienced
special educators who can identify the learning
gaps the students are experiencing and employ
multisensory approaches for remediating the
challenges students face.
Students who experience distress related to
academics can directly meet with the special
educator or they can meet via teacher referrals.
Special educators will conduct an informal
assessment to determine the level of their
academic functioning and any socio-emotional
needs related to the distress child is experiencing
