Come on and celebrate Lent

Come by here, O Lord
Holy God we praise Thy name Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling
Spirit of the living God The old rugged cross
Great indeed are Your works Lead me to Calvary
All things bright and beautiful Were you there
Lord have mercy on us all Into Your hands
Have mercy, have mercy At the cross her station keeping
Glory, glory
Father we sing to Your name
We bring sacrifice of praise Easter
On the paten
United in one body Alleluia, Christ has risen
Holy, O holy Alleluia, give thanks
Seed scattered and sown Are not our hearts
Speak to my soul, dear Jesus Though the mountains
If we eat of the Lord Hallelujah, praise ye the lord
Come let’s share Seek ye first (Easter)
O perfect love
I’m Your child, Lord Jesus
How great Thou art Christmas
Blessed assurance
Majesty Angels we have heard on high
Jesus is the joy of living Away in a manger
Let’s talk about Jesus Feliz Navidad
Love lifted me Go tell it on the mountain
O Lord I’m not worthy Hark! The herald angels sing
Love it was Jingle bells
We wanna see Jesus lifted high Joy to the world
He’s got the whole world Long time ago in Bethlehem
Thank You lord O come, all ye faithful
You shall go out with joy O holy night
Nearer, my God to Thee O little town of Bethlehem
Rock of ages Silent night
Shepherd me O God The first Noel
Soul of my Savior We three kings
Hail holy queen enthroned above What child is this
Hail, queen of heaven, the ocean star When a child is born
Daily daily sing to Mary
Sing my tongue (Pange lingua)
WHEN A CHILD IS BORN COME ON AND CELEBRATE

A ray of hope flickers in the sky Come on and celebrate

A tiny star lights up way up high His gift of love we will celebrate
All across the land, dawns a brand new morn The Son of God who loved us and gave us life
This comes to pass when a child is born We’ll shout Your praise O King
You gave us joy nothing else can bring
A silent wish sails the seven seas We’ll give to You our offering in celebration praise
The winds of change whisper in the trees
And the walls of doubt crumble, tossed and torn Come on and celebrate, celebrate, celebrate and sing
This comes to pass when a child is born Celebrate and sing to the King
Come on and celebrate, celebrate, celebrate and sing
A rosy hue settles all around Celebrate and sing to the King
You’ve got the feel you’re on solid ground
For a spell or two, no one seems forlorn 
This comes to pass when a child is born

(And all of this happens
because the world is waiting,

Waiting for one child 
Black, white, yellow, no one knows
But a child that will grow up 
and turn tears to laughter,
Hate to love, war to peace

and everyone to everyone’s neighbour
COME BY HERE, O LORD
And misery and suffering
will be words to be forgotten, forever)
Come by here O Lord, come by here (3)
O Lord, come by here
It’s all a dream, an illusion now
It must come true, sometime soon somehow
We do need you Lord, come by here (3)
All across the land, dawns a brand new morn
O Lord, come by here
This comes to pass when a child is born
Holy Father, holy Son
Holy Spirit, Three we name Thee
 While in essence only one
Undivided God we claim Thee
 And adoring bend the knee
While we own the mystery……(2)

HOLY GOD WE PRAISE THY NAME
WHAT CHILD IS THIS

Holy God we praise Thy name

Lord of all we bow before Thee What Child is this, who laid to rest,
All on earth Thy rule acclaim On Mary’s lap is sleeping?
All in heaven above adore Thee Whom angels greet with anthems sweet,
Infinite Thy vast domain While shepherds watch are keeping?
Everlasting is Thy reign………(2) This, this is Christ the King,
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing:
Hark the loud celestial hymn Haste, haste to bring Him laud,
Angel choirs above are raising The babe, the son of Mary.
Cherubim and seraphim
In unceasing chorus praising
Fill the heavens with sweet accord Why lies He in such mean estate
Holy, holy, holy Lord…………(2) Where ox and ass are feeding?
Good Christian, fear; for sinners here
The silent word is pleading.
Nails, spear, shall pierce Him through; Frankincense to offer have I:
The cross be borne for me, for you: Incense owns a Deity nigh;
Hail, hail the Word made flesh Prayer and praising, all men raising,
The babe, the Son of Mary. Worship Him, God on high.

Myrrh is mine: it’s bitter perfume

So bring Him incense, gold, and myrrh, Breathes a life of gathering gloom
Come, peasant, king, to own Him; Sorr’wing, sighing, bleeding, dying,
The King of kings salvation brings, Sealed in the stone-cold tomb.
Let loving hearts enthrone Him.
Raise, raise the song on high, Glorious now behold Him arise:
The virgin sings her lullaby: King and God and Sacrifice;
Joy, joy for Christ is born Alleluia, alleluia!
The babe, the Son of Mary. Earth to heav’n replies.

WE THREE KINGS GREAT INDEED ARE YOUR WORKS

We three kings of Orient are

Bearing gifts we traverse afar Great indeed are Your works, O Lord
Field and fountain, moor and mountain Now and evermore………..(2)
Following yonder star.

O star of wonder, star of night, The universe, night and day

Star with royal beauty bright, Tells of all Your wonders
Westward leading, still proceeding, You are our life and our light
Guide us to Thy perfect light. We shall praise You always

Born a King on Bethlehem’s plain:

Gold I bring to crown Him again, You are the path which we tread
King forever, ceasing never, You will lead us onward
Over us all to reign. From every corner of earth
All the nations gather
Each little flower that opens
Each little bird that sings
You lead us all by the hand He made their glowing colours
To the heavenly kingdom He made their tiny wings
Then at the end of all time
You will come in glory The purple headed mountains
The river running by
The sunset and the morning
That brightens up the sky
 The cold wind in the winter
 The pleasant summer sun
The ripe fruits in the country
 He made them every one
 He gave us eyes to see them
 And lips that we might tell
How great is God almighty
 Who has made all things well

ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

THE FIRST NOEL

All things bright and beautiful The first Noel, the angel did say,
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
All creatures great and small
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
All things wise and wonderful
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep.
The good God made them all
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel
They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the east, beyond them far,
And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued both day and night.

And by the light of that same star

Three wise men came from country far;
To seek for a king was their intent,
And to follow the star wherever it went.

This star drew nigh to the northwest,

O’er Bethlehem it took its rest,
And there it did both stop and stay,
Right over the place where Jesus lay.

Then entered in those wise men three,

Full rev’rently upon their knee,
And offered there in His presence
Their gold, and myrrh, and frankincense.

GLORY, GLORY O LITTLE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM
O little town of Bethlehem,
how still we see thee lie;
Glory, glory, glory to God in the highest Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
And peace to His people on earth the silent stars go by:
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
the everlasting Light;
Our Lord and God and King of the heavens The hopes and fears of all the years
Mighty God and Father are met in thee tonight.
We worship and give thanks to You For Christ is born of Mary,
We praise You for Your glory and gathered all above,
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
their watch of wond’ring love.
Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father O morning stars, together
Lamb of God, have mercy proclaim the holy birth!
And praises sing to God the King,
You free the world from sinfulness
and peace to men on earth.
Have mercy, Lord, have mercy
How silently, how silently,
the wondrous gift is giv’n!
Receive our prayer, O Son of the Father So God imparts to human hearts
the blessings of His heav’n.
Hear our cry for mercy
No ear may hear His coming,
As from Your seat at his right hand but in this world of sin,
You share the throne of glory Where meek souls will receive Him
still, the dear Christ enters in.
O holy child of Bethlehem,
For You are Lord, the One and the holy
descend to us, we pray;
With the Holy Spirit Cast out our sin and enter in;
You are the only Lord most high be born in us today.
In glory with the Father We hear the Christmas angels
the great glad tidings tell;
O come to us, abide with us,
our Lord Emmanuel.

LONG TIME AGO IN BETHLEHEM ON THE PATEN

Long time ago in Bethlehem,

so the Holy Bible say, On the paten with the host
Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, I offer up my lowly heart
was born on Christmas day. All my life, my deeds, my thoughts
Thine shall be as mine Thou art
Hark, now hear the angels sing,
a new king born today, In the chalice let me be
and man will live for evermore, A drop of water mingled there
because of Christmas day. Lost, O Jesus, in Thy love
Thy great sacrifice I share
While shepherds watch their flocks by night,
they see a bright new shining star, All today and every day
they hear a choir sing that night, O Jesus let me live in Thee
the music seems come from afar. So that I no longer live
But that Thou may’st live through me
Trumpets sound and angels sing,
listen to what they say,
that man will live for evermore,
because of Christmas Day.

Now Joseph and his wife, Mary, 
come to Bethlehem that night,
they find no place to bear the child, 
not a single room was in sight. 
By and by they find a little nook, 
in a stable all forlorn,
and in a manger cold and dark, 
the little baby was born. 
Holy O holy O holy is Lord
God of might and power
Earth and heaven are filled with glory
O God Your glory

Blessed O blessed O blessed is He

Who comes in the Lord’s name
Sing hosanna, hosanna, praise to the highest
UNITED IN ONE BODY JOY TO THE WORLD

United in one body Joy to the World! the Lord is come:

with Jesus Christ the Lord let earth receive her King;
We bring to You our offering Let every heart prepare him room,
of bread and wine, O God And heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n and nature sing,
We are the wheat of Christ And heav’n, and heav’n and nature sing.
If we be ground in the mill of life
May we be found pure bread Joy to the earth! the Savior reigns:
let men their songs employ;
We are the grape of Christ While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains
If we be crushed in the wine-press of suffering Repeat the sounding joy,
May we be found pure wine repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.
We are the Body of Christ
We must expect a share in His sorrow No more let sins and sorrows grow,
If we must rise with Him nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make his blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
HOLY, O HOLY far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as the curse is found.
He rules the world with truth and grace,
and makes the nations prove
The glories of his righteousness
And wonders of his love,
and wonders of his love,
And wonders, and wonders of his love.
JINGLE BELLS SEED SCATTERED AND SOWN

Dashing through the snow, Seed, scattered and sown;

in a one-horse open sleigh, Wheat, gathered and grown,
O’er the fields we go, Bread, broken and shared as one;
laughing all the way, The living bread of God.
Bells on bobtails ring, Vine, fruit of the land;
making spirits bright, Wine, work of our hands,
What fun it is to ride and sing One cup that is shared by all;
a sleighing song tonight. The living cup, the living bread of God.

Jingle bells, jingle bells, Is not the bread we break a sharing in our Lord?
jingle all the way, Is not the cup we bless the blood of Christ outpoured?
Oh what fun it is to ride
in a one-horse open sleigh……….(2)
The seed which falls on rock will wither and will die.
The seed within good ground will flower and have life.
A day or two ago,
I thought I’d take a ride,
As wheat upon the hills was gathered and was grown,
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side; so may the church of God be gathered into one.
The horse was lean and lank;
Misfortune seemed his lot;
He got into a drifted bank, 
And we, we got upsot.

SPEAK TO MY SOUL, DEAR JESUS HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SING
Speak to my soul, dear Jesus,
Speak now in tend’rest tone; Hark! The herald angels sing,
Whisper in loving kindness, “Glory to the new-born King;
“Thou art not left alone.” Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
Open my heart to hear Thee, God and sinners reconciled!”
Quickly to hear Thy voice, Joyful, all ye nations, rise,
Fill Thou my soul with praises, join the triumph of the skies;
Let me in Thee rejoice. With th’angelic host proclaim,
“Christ is born in Bethlehem!”
Speak Thou in softest whispers Hark! The herald angels sing,
Whispers of love to me, “Glory to the newborn King.”
“Thou shalt be always conq’ror,
Thou shalt be always free.” Christ, by highest heav’n adored,
Speak Thou to me each day, Lord, Christ the everlasting Lord!
Always in tend’rest tone, Late in time behold Him come,
Let me now hear Thy whisper, offspring of the Virgin’s womb.
“Thou art not left alone.” Veiled in flesh the Godhead see;
Speak to Thy children ever, hail th’incarnate Deity,
Lead in the holy way; Pleased as man with men to dwell,
Fill them with joy and gladness, Jesus, our Emmanuel.
Teach them to watch and pray. Hark! The herald angels sing,
May they in consecration “Glory to the newborn King.”
Yield their whole lives to Thee,
Hasten Thy coming kingdom, Hail the heav’n-born Prince of Peace!
Till our dear Lord we see. Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Speak now as in the old time ris’n with healing in His wings.
Thou didst reveal Thy will; Mild he lays His glory by,
Let me know all my duty, born that man no more may die,
Let me Thy law fulfill. Born to raise the sons of earth,
Lead me to glorify Thee, born to give them second birth.
Help me to show Thy praise, Hark! The herald angels sing,
Gladly to do Thy bidding, “Glory to the newborn King.”
Honor Thee all my days.
GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN If we eat of the Lord
And we drink of the Lord
Like the Lord we all shall be
Go, tell it on the mountain Then we live with His life
over the hills and everywhere; And we share in His love
Go, tell it on the mountain And His truth will make us free
that Jesus Christ is born.
The Lord tells us His plans
Listen to His commands
While shepherds kept their watching “To the Father come through Me
o’er silent flocks by night, Share this banquet of love
Behold, throughout the heavens Eat my flesh, drink my blood
there shone a holy light. Do this in my memory”

“This command,” says the Lord

The shepherds feared and trembled “I give specially to you
when, lo!, above the earth Love each one as I love you
Rang out the angel chorus By this sign all will know
that hailed our Savior’s birth. What I have to bestow
Through this love I will renew”

Down in a lowly manger “From this banquet of life

our humble Christ was born, Bring my love to the world
And God sent us salvation Be a sign for all to see
that blessed Christmas morn. That I bring you my peace
Through the breaking of bread
That I come to make you free”

In the Blessed Sacrament The little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay.

Eat the bread and drink the wine The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes
Flesh and blood of the Lord divine But little Lord Jesus no crying He makes;
Share His life, it is yours and mine I love Thee, Lord Jesus! Look down from the sky,
For we are one in His design And stay by my cradle till morning is nigh.

Come let’s share in the passion of the Lord Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay

O perfect Love, all human tho’t transcending
ANGELS WE HAVE HEARD ON HIGH Lowly we kneel in prayer before Thy throne
That theirs may be the love which knows no ending
Whom thou for ever more dost join in one
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o’er the plains
And the mountains in reply O perfect Life, be Thou their full assurance
Echo back their joyous strain. Of tender charity and steadfast faith
Of patient hope and quiet brave endurance
Gloria, in excelsis Deo (2) With childlike trust that fears no pain nor death

Shepherds, why this jubilee? Grant them the joy which brightens earthly sorrow
Why your joyous strain prolong? Grant them the peace which calms all earthly strife
Say what may the tidings be, And to life’s day the glorious unknown morrow
Which inspire your heav’nly song? That dawns upon eternal love and life

Gloria, in excelsis Deo (2)

Jesus is the Joy of Living, Alleluia, alleluia,

He’s the King of Life to me; Christ has risen from the dead
Unto Him my all I’m giving, He has risen to die no more.
His forevermore to be.
I will do what He commands me,
Anywhere He leads I’ll go At the dawn of Easter morning,
Jesus is the Joy of Living, When the stone was rolled away;
He’s the dearest Friend I know. Then from the darkness rose in glory,
Jesus Christ true risen light,
Life is growing rich with beauty, Bright’ning all the earth’s dark night.
Toil has lost its weary strain,
Now a halo crowns each duty,
And I sing a glad refrain. From the depths of weary bondage,
All mankind has risen too;
All eyes are opened from their blindness,
To the light of heav’nly view,
And with Christ they rise anew. XIII Let me mingle tears with thee
Mourning Him who mourned for me
All the days that I may live
Now the heart of every creature
Fills with hope and with gratitude;
They rise resplendent from their bondage, XIV By the cross with thee to stay
For their Lord has set them free. There with thee to weep and pray
From the pow’r of death’s decree. Is all I ask of thee to give

XV While my body here decays

May my soul Thy goodness praise
Safe in paradise with Thee. Amen

LOVE LIFTED ME
AT THE CROSS HER STATION KEEPING
I was sinking deep in sin (Stabat Mater Dolorosa)
Far from the peaceful shore
Very deeply stained within I At the cross her station keeping
Sinking to rise no more Stood the mournful Mother weeping
But the master of the sea Close to Jesus to the last
Heard my despairing cry
From the waters lifted me II Through her heart His sorrow sharing
Now safe am I All His bitter anguish bearing
Now at length the sword has passed
Love lifted me, love lifted me
When nothing else could help III O how sad and sore distressed
Love lifted me…………(2)
Was that Mother highly blest
All my heart to Him I give Of the sole begotten One
IV Christ above in torment hangs To You I call and You never answer me
She beneath beholds the pangs You send no comfort and I don’t know why
Of her dying glorious Son

V Is there one who would not weep You’ve been my guide since I was very young
You showed a way when I needed someone’s help
Whelmed in miseries so deep
And now I’m lonely, nobody’s by my side
Christ’s dear Mother to behold? Take heed my Lord and hear my prayer
VI Can the human heart refrain
From partaking in her pain I will proclaim Your name to all my friends
In that Mother’s pain untold? Thou art our God and our Father too
Your praise shall sound from every voice, O Lord
VII Bruised, derided, cursed, defiled Soon every heart will worship You
She beheld her tender Child
All with bloody scourges rent

VIII For the sins of His own nation

Saw Him hang in desolation
Till His spirit forth He sent
INTO YOUR HANDS
O LORD I’M NOT WORTHY

Into Your hands we commend our spirit, O Lord

Into Your hands we commend our hearts O Lord, I’m not worthy
For we must die to ourselves in loving You Yet You come to live in me
Into Your hands, we commend our love
So speak Your word of comfort
By Your touch strengthen and heal me
O God, my God, why have You gone from me
Far from my face, far from my cries
Take this and eat my body
And drink my saving blood LOVE IT WAS
Poured out for your redemption
Love it was that made us
A symbol of my love
And it was love that saved us
Love was God’s plan when He made man
God’s divine nature is love
Called to be God’s new people Born of God’s love we must love Him
Made one in Christ the Lord That’s why He made us to love Him
Let us with hearts united But only when we love all men
Bear witness of Your love Can we partake of God’s love
But only when we love all men
Can we partake of God’s love

Onward through life we journey Love is a wonderful thing

As seekers of the truth Joy in your heart it will bring
Building each day a new world Where there’s true love there is God
Of justice, peace and love And where there is God there is love

Christ said love must be the sign

By which men will know you for mine
 A new commandment I give
Each other love as I did

WERE YOU THERE LEAD ME TO CALVARY

Were you there when they crucified my Lord King of my life I crown thee now
Were you there when they crucified my Lord Thine shall the glory be
Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble, Lest I forget thy thorn-crowned brow
tremble, tremble Lead me to Calvary
Were you there when they crucified my Lord

Lest I forget Gethsemane

Were you there when they nailed Him to the tree Lest I forget Thine agony
Were you there when they nailed Him to the tree Lest I forget Thy love for me
Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble, Lead me to Calvary
tremble, tremble
Were you there when they nailed Him to the tree
Show me the tomb where Thou was laid
Tenderly mourned and wept
Were you there when they pierced Him in the side Angels in robes of light arrayed
Were you there when they pierced Him in the side Guarded Thee whilst Thou slept
Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble,
tremble, tremble
Were you there when they pierced Him in the side Let me like Mary through the gloom
Come with a gift to Thee
Show to me now the empty tomb
Were you there when they laid Him in the tomb Lead me to Calvary
Were you there when they laid Him in the tomb
Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble,
tremble, tremble May I be willing, Lord, to bear
Were you there when they laid Him in the tomb Daily my cross for Thee
Even Thy cup of grief to share
Thou hast borne all for me
While you go out with joy
HE’S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD NEARER, MY GOD TO THEE

He’s got the whole world in His hands (4)

Nearer, my God to Thee, nearer to Thee
He’s got the wind and the rain in His hands (3) E’en though it be a cross that raiseth me
He’s got the whole world in His hands Still all my song shall be, nearer my God to Thee
Nearer my God to Thee, nearer to Thee
He’s got the sun and the moon in His hands (3)
He’s got the whole world in His hands
Though like the wanderer, the sun gone down
He’s got the little tiny baby in His hands (3) Darkness be over me my rest a stone
He’s got the whole world in His hands Yet in my dreams I’d be nearer my God to Thee
Nearer my God to Thee, nearer to Thee
He’s got everybody here in His hands (3)
He’s got the whole world in His hands
There let the way appear, steps unto heav’n
THANK YOU LORD All that Thou sendest me in mercy giv’n
Angels to beckon me, nearer my God to Thee
Thank you Lord, for saving my soul, Nearer my God to Thee, nearer to Thee
Thank you Lord, for making me whole,
Thank you Lord, for giving to me,
Thy great salvation, so rich and free. There in my Father’s home, safe and at rest
There in my Saviour’s love, perfectly blest
YOU SHALL GO OUT WITH JOY
Age after age to be nearer my God to Thee
You shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace Nearer my God to Thee, nearer to Thee
The mountains and the hills will break forth before you
There’ll be shouts of joy and all the trees of the field
Will clap, will clap their hands
And all the trees of the field will clap their hands
The trees of the field will clap their hands
The trees of the field will clap their hands

THE OLD RUGGED CROSS 

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross
The emblem of suff’ring and shame 
And I love that old cross, where the Dearest and Best
For the world of lost sinners was slain 

So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross
Till my trophies at last I lay down
I will cling to the old rugged cross L E N T
And exchange it some day for a crown
SOFTLY AND TENDERLY JESUS IS CALLING
Oh that old rugged cross, so despised by the world
Has a wondrous attraction for me
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above Calling for you and for me
To bear it to dark Calvary See on the portals He’s waiting and watching
Watching for you and for me
In the old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine
A wondrous beauty I see
For ‘twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died
Come home, come home
To pardon and sanctify me Ye who are weary come home
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling
Calling O sinner, come home

 Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading
Pleading for you and for me Thou must save and Thou alone
Why should we linger and heed not His mercies
Mercies for you and for me? Nothing in my hand I bring
Simply to Thy cross I cling
Time is now fleeting the moments are passing
Passing from you and from me Naked, come to Thee for dress
Shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming Helpless, look to Thee for grace
Coming for you and for me Foul, I to the fountain fly
Wash me Savior or I die
Oh for the wonderful love He has promised
Promised for you and for me While I draw this fleeting breath
Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon
When my eyes shall close in death
Pardon for you and for me
When I rise to worlds unknown
ROCK OF AGES And behold Thee on Thy throne
Rock of ages cleft for me
Let me hide myself in Thee
Rock of ages cleft for me
Let me hide myself in Thee
SHEPHERD ME O GOD
Let the water and the blood
From Thy wounded side which flowed
Shepherd me O God
Be of sin the double cure
beyond my wants, beyond my fears
Save from wrath and make me pure
from death into life

Not the labor of my hands

God is my shepherd, so nothing shall I want
Can fulfill Thy law’s demands
I rest in the meadows of faithfulness and love
Could my zeal no respite know
I walk by the quiet waters of peace
Could my tears forever flow
All for sin could not atone
Gently you raise me and heal my weary soul
You lead me by pathways of righteousness and truth Senses cannot grasp this marvel.
My spirit shall sing the music of your name Faith must serve to compensate

Glory, honour, adoration,

SOUL OF MY SAVIOR Let us sing with one accord.
Praised be God almighty Father,
Soul of my savior sanctify my breast Praised be Christ, His Son, our Lord
Body of Christ be thou my saving guest Praised be God, the Holy Spirit.
Blood of my Savior, bathe me in Thy tide Triune Godhead be adored.
Wash me with waters flowing from Thy side

Strength and protection may Thy passion be Amen.

O blessed Jesus hear and answer me
Deep in Thy wounds Lord, hide and shelter me
So shall I never, never part from Thee

Save me from evil, make me Thine alone


In my last moments take me for Thine own 
Call me and bid me hasten to Thy side 
That I may see Thee praised and glorified



Let us bow in adoration 
To this sacrament so great.
Here is new and perfect worship;
All the old must terminate.
SING MY TONGUE Wine into his Blood He changes
(Pange lingua – Tantum ergo) What though sense no change discerns
Only be the heart in earnest
Sing, my tongue, thy Saviour’s glory, Faith her lesson quickly learns
Of His flesh the mystery sing;
Of His Blood, all price exceeding HAIL HOLY QUEEN ENTHRONED ABOVE
(Salve Regina)
Shed by our immortal King
Destined for the world’s redemption,
From a noble womb to spring Hail Holy Queen enthron'd above, O Maria
Hail Mother of Mercy and of love O Maria
Of a pure and spotless Virgin
Born for us on earth below
He, as Man, with man conversing Triumph all ye Cherubim
Sing with us ye Seraphim
Stayed, the seeds of truth to sow
Heav'n and earth resound the hymn
Then He closed in solemn order Salve Salve Salve Regina
Wondrously His life of woe

Our life our sweetness here below O Maria

On the night of that last supper Our hope in sorrow and in woe O Maria
Seated with His chosen band
He, the Paschal Victim eating We honour you for Christ, your Son, O Maria!
First fulfils the Law’s command; Who has for us redemption won, O Maria!
Then as food to all His brethren
Gives Himself with His own hand

Word made Flesh, the bread of nature 

By his Word to Flesh, He turns

To thee, blest advocate, we cry;
 Pity our sorrows, calm our fears,
 And sooth with hope our misery.
Refuge in grief, star of the sea,
 Pray for the mourner, pray for me.
 And while to him who reigns above,
 In Godhead One, in Persons Three,
The source of life, of grace, of love,
Homage we pay on bended knee,
Do thou, bright Queen, star of the sea,
Pray for thy children, pray for me.

HAIL, QUEEN OF HEAVEN, THE OCEAN STAR

DAILY DAILY SING TO MARY

Hail, Queen of heav'n, the ocean star,

Guide of the wand'rer here below: Daily daily sing to Mary
Thrown on life's surge, we claim thy care; Sing, my soul, her praises due:
Save us from peril and from woe. All her feasts, her actions honor
Mother of Christ, star of the sea, With the heart's devotion true.
Pray for the wanderer, pray for me. Lost in wond'ring contemplation,
Be her majesty confessed:
O gentle, chaste and spotless maid, Call her Mother, call her Virgin,
We sinners make our prayers through thee; Happy Mother, Virgin blest.
Remind thy son that he has paid
The price of our iniquity.
Virgin most pure, star of the sea, She is mighty in her pleading,
Pray for the sinner, pray for me. Tender in her loving care;
Ever watchful, understanding,
Sojourners in this vale of tears, All our sorrows she will share.
Advocate and loving mother,
Mediatrix of all grace:
Heaven's blessings she dispenses
On our sinful human race.

All our graces flow through Mary;

All then join her praise to sing:
Fairest work of all creation,
Mother of creation's King.
Sing in songs of peace unending,
Call upon her lovingly:
Seat of wisdom, Gate of heaven,
Morning star upon the sea..
