Dear Mr Eze

Tetley and Lupton Scholarships for International Students Session 2024-2025

Your application for a Tetley and Lupton Scholarship has been successful for the programme
of study leading to the degree of MSc(Eng) Geotechnical Engineering in the School of Civil
Engineering.

You should refer to your study offer letter for any conditions which may be applicable before
you are able to register at the University of Leeds.

Details regarding obtaining your Student Visa and Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies
(CAS) will be provided in your study offer letter.

If you require an ATAS (Academic Technology Approval Scheme) Certificate, this will also be
noted in your study offer letter.

The University of Leeds normally requires a tuition fee deposit of £3,000 before issuing
a CAS, but as you have a scholarship providing academic fees, you are exempt from
paying the deposit.

The award provides academic fees (capped at £26,000) and will be made for the session
2024-2025 only. It cannot be deferred to a subsequent session. This offer is made in
accordance with the Tetley and Lupton Scholarship Regulations for full-time study (please see
Annex 1 below) on the condition that you are liable to tuition fees at the “full cost” rate for
International Students.

If you wish to accept the offer on the terms and conditions set out above and in the attached
Regulations, I should be grateful if you confirm this by returning the signed acceptance slip
(electronic signature is permitted) within two weeks of the date of this letter, by email
(pg_scholarships@leeds.ac.uk).

Please note that, if you have not already done so, you will also have to accept the offer of a study
place(s) separately – please visit your Applicant Portal at https://application.leeds.ac.uk

When you register in September 2024, you must produce this letter as evidence that you have
a Tetley and Lupton Scholarship.

If the Postgraduate Scholarships Office does not receive a written response from you within
two weeks of the date of the offer, the scholarship will be deemed to have been declined and
therefore will be offered to another candidate.

Yours sincerely
